Chapter 298: Chapter 298: Not Suitable for the Public Eye

He was determined to make sure Hannah Winter couldn’t make it in this industry!

Upon recalling this, the producer’s face became increasingly somber.

Only after Joan King had called him several times did he regain his bearings. However, his tone was still unpleasant, "I saw through your so-called little tricks a long time ago. It was Tiffany Lynch who asked you to do this, wasn’t it?"

Joan King reluctantly nodded.

The producer scoffed, "What a joke. Just these petty actions! If it weren’t for me covering for you, do you really think you could deceive anyone?"

Joan King quickly tried to smooth things over, "Yes, yes, you’re right."

The producer was also not happy, if it wasn’t for the investors’ request, and the negotiated price with Prideful Entertainment, he would not have gone to such lengths to protect Tiffany Lynch.

Unable to surpass, she resorted to blatant robbery. That was incredibly stupid.

If she hadn’t lucked out by gaining a rich sponsor, she would have been chewed up and spit out sooner or later.

The producer continued to berate Joan King, emphatically venting his anger on her.

Joan King dared not to argue, merely nodding along. She only snapped out of it when she saw Jackie Qualls, "Mr. Qualls."

The producer also reacted swiftly, suppressing his fury. Turning his head around, he spoke in a somewhat ingratiating manner, "Mr. Qualls, what brings you here?"

Jackie Qualls stopped in front of them, his face was mild and aloof, speaking in a light voice, "I’ve come to see the trainees’ performances."

No one else came because they didn’t need to be present for the recording of the theme song.

Jackie Qualls was not alone; his manager and assistant also followed him, showing a bit of grandeur.

He must have just come from the set.

Jackie Qualls’s manager was a very astute and capable woman. She couldn’t understand why he was so committed just to record a talent show.

She pushed up her stern black-rimmed glasses, glanced at the time, and hurriedly said, "We’re on a tight schedule, please take us in to see."

The producer, also known as PD Cooper, quickly agreed, "Of course, I’ll take you right there."

After saying that, he glanced at Joan King, who quickly stepped forward, "Mr. Qualls, please follow me. The recording has already started."

Jackie Qualls nodded and looked at his manager, "Sister Smith, you can wait outside for me, I just want to take a quick look inside."

Sister Cooper nodded and reminded the producer before she left that today’s visit should not be included in the final cut or the highlights.

The theme song music stopped for the second time.

The director responsible for this shoot, Richard Lee, was holding a loudspeaker, his whole person somewhat irritable. "Those in Class F in the back, I beg you, don’t think that just because you’re at the back, the camera won’t be able to capture you. Let’s be serious. If you can’t keep up, then get out!"

After saying that, Richard went back behind the camera to carefully review the footage just filmed.

Class F had one or two individuals who stood out

Of course, it wasn’t because they performed well, but because they were so bad.

The director called out the names and found out that among them was Tiffany Lynch, the trainee who had been downgraded from Class A to Class F, and another one who used to be in Class B.

Being downgraded does cause a psychological gap, but this is a talent show, Richard Lee would rather everyone present professional attitudes, instead of going through the motions and then dragging the whole team’s performance down.

After a pause, Richard Lee looked again at the monitor.

Hannah, standing at the center, was still dazzling, showing no signs of fatigue on her face.
