Chapter 245: Chapter 245: Taking a Break

"Because this is Sunny Lee’s goal.

Everyone stopped, a group of people looking in Hannah’s direction whispering to each other, and finally decided to let Sunny Lee go to find Hannah.

She used to be Hannah’s roommate, and they had talked before, even though the conversation was not very pleasant, but among everyone in this practice room, she and Hannah were the closest.

She thought for a moment, then went over and sat next to Hannah, hesitating to speak, "Hannah, aren’t you practicing at all?"

Hannah turned her head to look at the person beside her, a smile appeared on her lips.

The smile was splendid, making Sunny Lee blush.

Hannah pointed to her knee, "Injured, taking a break."

Only then did Sunny Lee notice the bruises on Hannah’s exposed knee, just looking at it made one feel frightened, yet Hannah behaved as if nothing was wrong.

Sunny Lee bit her lip, her voice worried, "It’s because Ms. Shaw held you back yesterday, so that’s why..."

She was cut off mid-sentence, feeling a cool touch on her lip.

Hannah held up a finger, preventing Sunny Lee from saying the words that were about to come out of her mouth, her eyes curved, her voice had a bit of a patronizing undertone, "Be good, saying some things won’t be good for you."

Suddenly, Sunny Lee smelled a faint fragrance, much like the rich aroma of a rose garden at night.

Looking at the girl with black hair and fair skin in front of her, Sunny Lee’s face turned even redder, "I’m sorry, I’ll be more careful next time."

Hannah seemed satisfied, she drew her hand back, "That’s more like it."

There was a move in the theme dance where you made contact with the ground with your knee, similar to kneeling. Normally, the trainees would wear knee pads to prevent injuring their knees and messing up their performances.

However, Sunny Lee remembered, on the day Reese Shaw was teaching, they were not allowed to wear knee pads. Reese Shaw’s reasoning was very direct, "Are you going to wear knee pads on stage too? Practice like this for me now, if you can’t take it leave."

That day, Hannah was kept back to run through this move repeatedly, it was normal for her knee to get hurt.

A few girls not far away were still cheering for Sunny Lee.

But Sunny Lee suddenly felt a little embarrassed, it was now difficult for her to speak the words she had prepared earlier.

She looked up, unexpectedly meeting a pair of eyes as deep as the night sky. But those eyes were full of starlight, carrying a hint of a scattered smile.

Hannah stretched out her hand and effortlessly tied her hair up into a neat bun.

She stood up, found a higher place to put her novel, then turned her head to look at the still dazed Sunny Lee, smiling, "What are you dazing for, didn’t you come to ask me to teach you how to dance?"

Sunny Lee was somewhat blank, and after reacting, she nodded vigorously.

She didn’t know that Hannah had seen through their intentions early on.

The few girls not far away thought that it was Sunny Lee who had convinced Hannah, and were all a bit excited.

They were just a few trainees from Class D, their skills were not good, and they didn’t have any fans, so they didn’t have much class time. Sometimes even when Reese Shaw came, it was only for the cameras, and she left within a few minutes.

Although the other dance teacher, Violet Lee, was easy to talk to, she was also required to guide the Class B trainees. The program team had made it clear that her focus should be on Classes B and C.

Because both classes had several well-liked trainees.

So they were left puzzled and clueless, that’s why they thought of asking Hannah to guide them in their practice.
