Chapter 196: Chapter 196: Failed to Draw a Tiger and Ended Up Drawing a Dog Instead
As if Hannah Winter was in any way comparable to her.
Now that everything was out in the open, Tiffany Lynch no longer wore her previous mask. Although her words were still gentle, they carried cutting sarcasm, "Hannah, have you ever heard of a saying?"
Hannah didn’t look at her, but merely responded, "What?"
Tiffany Lynch smiled and whispered: "Trying to draw a tiger but ending up sketching a dog."
She smiled, her chin slightly raised revealing her delicate neck, filled with an air of self-importance. She looked as if she had grown accustomed to feeling superior, her gaze gentle when she looked at people. But if one looked closely, one could see the deceit and mockery in her eyes.
She disdained comparing herself with others, yet she didn’t tolerate any challenges either, especially from Hannah Winter.
This was crossing her line.
Seeking to take her place after having benefitted from her.
Isn’t that ridiculous?
Nothing but an imposter, even being a perfect mimic wouldn’t make her any more genuine. She laughed coldly, "I’ve been studying the violin for several years, investing a lot of effort. Any random teacher you find can’t get you to my level in a few days. I hope you understand that."
Unable to flatten a single strand of rebellious hair ruining her elegant appearance, Hannah got irritated. She turned to Tiffany Lynch and suddenly asked: "Do you have a hairpin?"
Tiffany Lynch, whose mocking eyes had yet to soften, was taken aback, "What did you say?"
"Never mind." Hannah waved her off, ignoring the stray hair, and turned to Tiffany Lynch: "Miss Lynch, have you not heard clearly when I said that Western music doesn’t suit me?"
While the original host did indeed chose the violin for her debut, Hannah had no such plans.
Put simply, she just didn’t want to follow the script.
And to see what punishment would follow.
Tiffany Lynch was taken aback, "How is that possible? I saw the program. You were supposed to..."
She realised something suddenly and pulled herself up short, quickly fell silent.
Thankfully, the other trainees were too busy practicing their moves to notice.
She lowered her voice and glared at Hannah, "You secretly changed your performance."
Hannah smiled, looking at her meaningfully, "What, Miss Lynch, you didn’t know? I thought you were omniscient."
Tiffany Lynch was a bit uncomfortable under Hannah’s gaze. She reached out and touched the violin box next to her for comfort, "Regardless of what you’re going to perform, I just want to tell you this: while there might be some resemblance between us, you’re not and will never be me. Don’t dare imagine you can replace me."
She paused then proceeded, "Like I’ve said, a fake is always a fake."
Hannah shook her head, her tone filled with concern, "Miss Lynch, initially, I thought only your hearing was bad, now it seems your eyesight is failing too."
Tiffany Lynch: "What do you mean?"
Hannah gave her a charming smile, a flirtatious glance, and whispered: "I’m way prettier than you."
Tiffany Lynch gritted her teeth and muttered, "...Psychopath."
Luckily, they were in a blind spot without cameras, where they hadn’t yet put on their mics, otherwise their conversation would surely have ended up on trending topics.
Late into the night, everyone started to doze while filming.
