Chapter 1324: Chapter 1324: Taken Away
He was twenty-three this year, five years since he came of age, yet his face still retained an innocuous, unripe charm.
He seemed like a pure and sunny youth.
But Hannah did not think Louis Snyder was pure and sunny.
A black-and-white wolf named Little White, even if "returning to the shore" could not negate everything from the past.
Louis Snyder had come alone today.
He drove, with no one on the road, vast and empty.
This place resembled a beach forgotten by people.
There was only sunlight, palm trees, sandy beaches, and seawater.
The waves churned, creating white foam, rushing towards the shore and then receding back into the sea.
The distant sky was clear, with clouds occasionally visible that resembled willow catkins, blown gently by the wind, arriving quickly and dispersing just as fast, as if plunging into the deep blue sea.
So serene it could cleanse the soul.
Louis Snyder turned his head and glanced at Hannah, who was resting against the back of her seat.
From this angle, he could see her slightly pale profile and her drooping brows and eyes.
Her lips were an unnatural red.
Louis Snyder slowed the car and asked, "Sister, are you okay?"
After a while, Hannah replied softly, "I’m fine."
Her voice was slightly hoarse.
Louis Snyder chuckled, withdrew his gaze, and rhythmically tapped his fingertips on the steering wheel.
His mood was evidently very good as he recalled the villa he had just seen.
Apart from a middle-aged woman, there were no extra guards, and even Hannah could walk freely in the yard.
If Jimmy Simmons could allow this situation, then it proved one thing.
He was very confident that Hannah could not leave this villa.
Such confidence could either be because Hannah had some leverage on Jimmy Simmons, or because she had been drugged.
Clearly, the situation was the latter.
Louis Snyder parked the car by the seaside; as soon as he opened the window, the sea breeze rushed in eagerly.
The wind carried warmth, lifting the girl’s soft, long hair.
Gently sweeping across his face.
Louis Snyder intently watched Hannah, who had fallen into a deep sleep.
The outside sunlight gently embraced half of her face.
He boldly peered at her delicate brows and eyes, blushing cheeks, and the vividly moist hue on her lips.
She was like the bright moon coexisting with the blazing sun in daylight, under the glaring white light a faint frosty white prevailed.
At that moment, there was only one thought in his heart.
To hide her away.
This would be his last chance.
He couldn’t possibly return her to another man’s hands.
They were meant to be together.
All those past trivial episodes had moved on, what mattered was now— they had to be together.
Realizing this, the melancholy in Louis Snyder’s eyes completely dispersed.
He turned the car around and headed in the opposite direction.
In the past, he thought he was probably going mad.
And now, he truly was mad.
In dreams, he had sketched Hannah wearing a pure white wedding dress countless times.
Like the night sky adorned with stars, or the deep night with fireflies dancing around, the moment a shooting star streaked across the sky, he made a wish, that they would be together forever and ever.
"Sister, do you think it’s good?"
Louis Snyder stood behind Hannah, gently stroking her soft, black hair, his gaze lowered to reflect the girl’s pristine white dress.
He curved his lips into a smile, as innocent and harmless as he had been before.
His eyes filled with an undisguised obsession for Hannah.
In the old church, it was quiet enough to hear the creaking of the wooden floors as the wind passed.
