Chapter 1315: Chapter 1315 No One Will Find
In her ear, he whispered softly, "It will just be the two of us."
The darkness before her only allowed Hannah to see a blurred outline as she faintly said, "Aren’t you afraid Arnold knows all this."
Even through a layer of black cloth, Jimmy could still conjure those beautifully pure eyes in his mind.
They were like deep blue phantom fires drifting in the depths of the forest, beautiful, unreal, with a deadly allure.
"Do you think I still care about that?" he chuckled, shaking his head and bending over in a posture that almost embraced her, "Hannah, no one will find you."
His confidence in saying that meant he was sure Arnold would not discover them.
Jimmy left, and the room fell silent again.
The sound of the wind outside the window seemed to lessen gradually, making the sound of the waves clearer.
She had already been taken away from the city.
The room was empty, with just two chairs and a lamp on the floor, which was all there was.
There were no curtains on the window, and the gloomy sky let in no light, while the cold wind howled, blending with the sound of the waves as if falling right by her ear.
Because of the emptiness, the cold followed.
Golden Lotus was not by Hannah’s side.
It was at home, happily playing with Big Circle.
The house servant had prepared bone meat for Big Circle’s lunch, and it had already negotiated with Big Circle.
Only after it had eaten its fill was Big Circle allowed to eat.
Big Circle sat on the ground, tilted its head, looked at the small bunch that was Golden Lotus in front of it, grinned, exhaled, and its ears moved, looking both obedient and silly.
"Woof!"
Golden Lotus patted the paw that was almost bigger than itself, "That’s a good boy, remember to let me taste your meat first next time, I’m doing this because I worry about you, fearing you might overeat and feel stuffed."
"Woof!"
Big Circle excitedly got up, stamping its paws and spun around on the spot before lowering its head to nudge Golden Lotus, signaling it to sit on its head, so they could go out and play.
Today was a rare good weather day, with the sun, the grass, and the faintly scented wildflowers.
It was simply a paradise for dogs.
Golden Lotus also felt a bit tempted, but still pretentiously lifted its chin before finally moving its paws to climb onto Big Circle’s head.
But halfway through the motion, it stopped.
Big Circle looked up, puzzled.
Golden Lotus stood still, listening to the voice coming through its mind, shocked, "Master, you’ve been kidnapped!"
With Hannah not at home, Golden Lotus’s voice sounded to others like a series of barks.
The servant peeked out from the kitchen, "Big Circle, stop making noise, lunch is almost ready."
Big Circle sat at the stairway entrance, glanced at Golden Lotus which had gone into the room looking woefully wronged and whimpered.
Golden Lotus’s mind was slightly slow, and from the few words its master said, it only remembered "kidnapped."
"Master, who kidnapped you?" As soon as Golden Lotus entered the room, it quickly hid behind the curtain, only its four fuzzy paws sticking out.
The room was Big Circle’s, filled with its favorite toys.
Plush toys, a bouncy ball with teeth marks, and its dog bed, as well as a larger version of a Golden Lotus plush doll.
The last one was Big Circle’s favorite toy.
Golden Lotus scratched the floor with its paws, "Master, should I secretly tell the villain to save you?"
Heroes saving beauties, what a great story.
Hannah said, "Do you think he would understand you?"
"Right." Golden Lotus pondered, "But I can type, I can send a text message."
