Chapter 1313: Chapter 1313: Offering Help

Leo Carlson shook his head and said it didn’t matter, "When I was young, I also went through this. If Director Stewart doesn’t mind, we could start with the scenes featuring John Lynch and me; maybe I could offer him some assistance." 𝘧𝓇ℯ𝑒𝓌𝑒𝑏𝓃𝘰𝘷𝘦𝘭.𝒸ℴ𝓂

Jack Stewart thought about it and felt that it could indeed be a good opportunity.

If someone like Leo Carlson, a formidable actor with true talent, could guide him, John Lynch’s performance would likely improve significantly.

Hannah beckoned, calling over John Lynch, who was grappling with the script. "Mr. Carlson will be acting with you. From now on, consider him your teacher," she said.

John Lynch stared at Hannah blankly for a while before he reacted, quickly bowing to Leo Carlson and calling out, "Teacher."

Leo Carlson just smiled and patted his shoulder.

Once Leo Carlson had left, John Lynch looked at Hannah with guilt, "Sis, did I let you down?"

Hannah said no.

John Lynch felt even more ashamed.

Hannah could only sigh and patted his shoulder as well, "If you’re truly afraid of disappointing me, then work hard from now on. Don’t embarrass me, and don’t let others say I have poor judgment."

John Lynch nodded vigorously, as if making a solemn vow, utterly serious, "Rest assured, I definitely won’t let you down. I will become the most outstanding artist you’ve signed!"

The mood of a young person always changes exceptionally fast; one moment they could be sad, and the next they could be brimming with confidence, always ready in a heartbeat.

They have an endless supply of youthful energy and vitality.

Jack Stewart added dryly from the side, "Hannah only signed you as an artist; you are both the best and the worst."

The smile on John Lynch’s face collapsed again.

Hannah laughed and pushed Jack Stewart away, consoling the struck-down boy, "Don’t listen to him. Come on, I’ll treat you to supper tonight, and everyone else can join too. It’s on me today."

The crew members all put down their work and cheered.

...

Having decided to shoot the scenes with the male lead and the second male lead first, Hannah, the lead actress, ended up having a few days off to rest.

Since she had planned to take a break after filming this movie, she did not intend to leave the set in the coming days.

The location designated for the movie shooting was quite remote; by just after nine o’clock, it had become completely quiet outside, leaving only a few solitary streetlights.

Before taking a rest, Hannah, as usual, talked on the phone with Arnold Simmons

Everything was as it always had been.

...

The weather in November brought with it a fine, dense drizzle.

The sound of the rain could not overpower the crashing of the waves; once the wind blew, it dissipated everything.

In just a few minutes, the rain became heavier, and the cold wind slammed against the windows with the rain, as if ready to break through this last barrier and flood the entire room at any moment.

The room’s lighting was dim, and the man sat in a corner, fiddling with a lighter in his hand.

Between flashes of the lighter’s flame, there was thunder and lightning outside the window.

The girl, unconscious, was tied hands behind her back to a chair, her face pale as snow, save for her lips, which were vivid to the extreme, like crushed petals.

Out of fragility arose a dazzling beauty.

As beautiful as the radiant sun in an ink painting.

Jimmy Simmons sat on the side, quietly admiring for quite a while, the curve of his lips taking on a sickly infatuation.

"She’s truly beautiful," he sighed quietly in the empty room.

The feeling of helplessness and heaviness made Hannah instinctively curl her fingers.

Stiffness and chill swept through her body in that instant.

Her long eyelashes trembled slightly, and as she opened her eyes, all she saw was a blurred darkness.

A black cloth covered her vision.
