Chapter 1286: Chapter 1286: Unwilling

It really was a wonderful dream.

*

Half a month later, Hannah took some time to attend a red carpet event.

After the event, she once again encountered Louis Snyder.

The once innocuously disguised young man was now beginning to show his sharp edges, no longer pretending to be flattered by the fawning of those around him, but instead showing an indifferent and annoyed expression.

Even so, those people still dared not express any complaints.

After Jackie Qualls went abroad, Louis Snyder became the most famous producer in the producers’ circle.

Every film or television drama he produced was a blockbuster.

Leveraging his fame from his past days in the entertainment industry, Louis Snyder still attracted attention even though he had stepped back from the limelight.

However, one thing was notable, in the long list of actors he had worked with, Hannah’s name had never appeared.

Outsiders were not aware, or perhaps some were deliberately causing trouble, starting rumors that there was discord between the two.

After all, from their perspective, the producer’s role was of crucial importance in a film.

Louis Snyder’s reluctance to collaborate was likely due to some past incident between them.

But only their insider circle knew that it wasn’t that Louis Snyder was unwilling, but rather... it was she who was unwilling.

Being at the same event, although some wanted to gossip, it was not appropriate to name names, especially in front of Louis Snyder.

The conversation, winding its way, eventually came back to Louis Snyder.

People tried various ways to inquire about the several projects Louis Snyder was handling recently, indirectly expressing hope to get their own people involved.

"There’s a new actress, pretty and young, good looking and articulate, Producer Snyder, if you are satisfied, next time I will bring her over for you to meet, and if you are still satisfied,..."

"I’m not interested."

Louis Snyder curtly interrupted before the person could finish speaking.

Not willing to let go of this opportunity, the man was about to say more when Louis Snyder had already risen and quickly walked away in a particular direction.

The group exchanged glances, some still not having caught up with what had happened.

Brother Davis, watching Louis Snyder quickly head toward the direction Hannah had left, shook his head helplessly.

...

Hannah had only glanced at Louis Snyder from a distance and hadn’t expected him to suddenly pursue her.

The event had just ended, and while only a few had left, most were using the opportunity to expand their networks.

Some wanted to approach and start a conversation with Hannah, but they all tactfully withdrew upon seeing Louis Snyder.

Louis Snyder’s fondness for Hannah was no secret.

Seeing Louis Snyder approach, Hannah didn’t avoid him but stood waiting for him.

Assistant Lowe, learning from the previous incident, this time stood behind Hannah and didn’t leave.

In Louis Snyder’s eyes, there was only Hannah. Seeing her, he instantly reverted to the gentle and harmless young man he had been before, his voice filled with pleasure and joy, "Sister."

Hannah’s gaze shifted behind him, seeing those who had been surrounding Louis Snyder.

They were either directors or heads of entertainment companies.

She smiled, her gaze returning to Louis Snyder, "It seems you are doing very well now."

Louis Snyder’s smile faded slightly as he looked into Hannah’s eyes and said, "No, not well at all."

His words were full of grievance, his eyes undisguised with dependency and admiration.

Hannah thought of the plot that had not yet been revealed. 𝚏𝕣𝐞𝗲𝐰𝕖𝐛𝐧𝕠𝕧𝚎𝚕.𝐜𝚘𝗺

If she wasn’t mistaken, it surely depicted Tiffany Lynch’s ultimate fate.
