Chapter 1262: Chapter 1262 Continue Practice
During the process of handling affairs, Jack Stewart also occasionally looked up to check on the situation on stage.
Hannah was reviewing dance moves.
During the break, Jack handed her a cup of warm water.
He had just poured hot water from the thermos, mixed it with some cold water, and now the temperature was just right.
Hannah, holding the quilt to warm her hands, slowly steadied her rapid heartbeat.
Dancing indeed uses up a lot of physical strength.
Seeing her somewhat pale face, Jack clicked his tongue lightly, his tone half teasing, half concerned, "How come after being ill, you seem so weakened?"
Hannah, looking down as she drank water, replied, "My illness came on like a crashing mountain and left as slow as pulling silk."
"Then can you still handle it?"
Jack, resting his chin on his hand, watched her. She stood against the light, and even the strands of her hair were tinged with the golden sunlight.
Beautiful, but just like a snowflake.
Gone with a breath.
After finishing her water, Hannah wiped off her sweat with a tissue and said very seriously, "How could a woman say she can’t do it?"
Jack was amused by her, "Alright, alright, you’re the strongest. But I still have to remind you, you have schedules later on, and if you fall ill again..."
Hannah glared at him, "Can’t you hope for my good?"
Jack raised his hands in surrender, "Okay, I’ll stop. You’re the boss, the little boss pampered by your partner."
Hannah huffed twice and stuffed the water cup back into his hands before running back to continue practicing.
She had to catch up on the week’s worth of practice she had missed.
Singing couldn’t be over-practiced, but dance moves should be as polished as possible.
Just as she had said, whether it’s singing or acting, in the entertainment industry, talent is the eternal truth.
The fans spent money and gave their genuine feelings, so she had to be worthy of them.
Even the smallest bit of sincerity shouldn’t be disappointed.
Jack, holding the water cup, stood on the stage and watched for a while before preparing to come down. As he glanced casually towards the audience seats.
At some point, a person had taken a seat in the previously empty area.
It was too far away to see clearly who it was at first glance.
But it probably wasn’t a paparazzi, since they wouldn’t be so bold as to sneak into the venue to take photos.
Music filled the stadium.
The staff were adjusting the equipment.
Hannah casually sat on the ground, holding the microphone and sang a few lines along with the music.
It was a new song prepared especially for a performance.
The daylight was bright.
The man sat in the corner, in a spot where the light couldn’t reach, his face covered by a hat, hidden in the shadows, just quietly watching the person on the stage.
There were no brilliant lights, no fancy costumes, just an unadorned smiling face that still caught your eye.
When she smiled, it truly seemed to shine.
Making her the only one you could see in your vision.
Very much alike, truly resembling.
"There seems to be someone who’s been watching you," the dance teacher sitting beside her suddenly spoke up.
Hannah paused for a moment and looked in the direction the dance teacher pointed to.
The empty audience seats, the dark chairs, half in light, half in shadow.
But no matter which half, they were completely empty.
The dance teacher was also puzzled, "They were just there a moment ago, could I have been mistaken?"
Although she was somewhat nearsighted, surely her eyes weren’t so blurry that she was seeing things that weren’t there?
Hannah withdrew her gaze and stood up from the ground, "Let’s keep practicing."
The dance teacher didn’t dwell on it either, got up from the ground, dusted off her clothes, and continued with the movements they were practicing before.
