Chapter 1180: Chapter 1180 Who is that person?

"He arrived just a day or half a day before your friend who came last night; you were still shooting at that time, so you probably didn’t run into him,"

Lucy Taylor also grabbed some sunflower seeds and started cracking them, "Have you seen him then?"

The landlady passed all the seeds in her hand to Lucy Taylor, dusting off her hands, "I saw him. He’s pretty handsome, just too young-looking, almost seems like a minor."

A minor?

Lucy Taylor pondered seriously while cracking seeds.

Driven by a woman’s intuition, she always felt that the man from last night had bumped into them on purpose, and that he was specifically there for Hannah.

Did he know Hannah?

But who would follow her to such a remote place?

A fan?

She just couldn’t figure it out.

The landlady brewed some tea and handed a cup to Lucy Taylor, taking a sip herself, "Other things aside, that handsome guy seemed somewhat familiar, like I’ve seen him somewhere."

But the more she thought about it, the more she couldn’t recall.

Lucy Taylor stroked her chin, "Could it be a stalker fan?"

The thought alone made her hair stand on end.

The stalker fans these days are just like maniacs. Some even follow you right to your doorstep, purposefully knocking just to peek through the peephole.

It nearly scared her to death.

The more Lucy Taylor thought about it, the more frightened she became, forgetting to even crack the seeds in her hand.

The landlady, however, did not think in that direction. She’d seen all sorts of people running a hotel; she could tell a good person from a bad one at a glance. To exaggerate a bit, she knew them the moment they walked in the door.

Take a while back, for instance, a fugitive had hidden in their small town and stayed at her place, using a fake ID.

She spotted the problem the moment he entered.

But who was she? The owner of Pleasant Stay Inn!

She didn’t panic at all at the time. After arranging his accommodation, she calmly called the police.

Without flinching.

So to her, the man from last night seemed more like...

"An admirer," the landlady swung her fan, her eyes shrewd with a meaningful expression, "Maybe he’s after your friend. Not to mention anything else, but your friend has a look that’s quite appealing. Not only to men, I, a woman, am almost smitten."

Those curves, that fair skin, just like the daffodil she raised, the more you look, the more you like.

Lucy Taylor tapped the table lightly, reminding her, "You’re a married woman."

The landlady didn’t care, "I’ve been divorced for so long, I don’t even remember what he looks like anymore."

Lucy Taylor gritted her teeth, "...That doesn’t mean you can set your sights on Hannah. She has a boyfriend!"

The landlady didn’t say anything but just smiled at Lucy Taylor, then walked out, fanning herself.

In her youth, she was a beauty with countless suitors. Now at her age, her beauty may not be the same as before, but the inherent sex appeal and charm are far greater than in her younger days.

It was from her that Lucy Taylor finally understood.

Every age of a woman is beautiful, elegance and charm etched into their very being, never fading with age.

Beauty is not just about the outer shell.

Yet, why would such a woman willingly remain in a small town, running a hotel like this?

And what about the heartless ex-husband she mentioned being divorced from?

Footsteps came from upstairs.

Lucy Taylor snapped back to reality and saw Hannah coming down from upstairs, holding a bunch of flowers.

Wildflowers that she couldn’t name, collected from god-knows-where, but blooming in an extraordinarily unique way, pinks and yellows together that looked quite beautiful.

Lucy Taylor was curious, "Did you pick these this morning?"
