Chapter 1168: Chapter 1168 Orange Flavor

After that, the filming process of the drama was very secretive, and no one deliberately marketed or hyped it, so few people knew about it.

It wasn’t until a few days before "Suzy" was set to air that it really caught people’s attention, due to Hannah’s popularity.

Some had thought Hannah’s temperament wasn’t strong enough to support the role of a female general, but after the show aired, no one thought so anymore.

It’s no exaggeration to say that Hannah was simply the embodiment of the female general herself, showing no trace of acting. Even with thousands of soldiers behind her, none matched her commanding presence.

She was like a cold wind blowing through the world, gentle, yet it could claim one’s life.

After "Suzy" aired, it was initially Hannah’s fame that drew viewers in, but ultimately, everyone was captivated by the female general in the drama.

She was proud, had her own convictions, and at first glance, one might not understand why, with better options available, she would choose to return to the scheming royal palace. 𝗳𝚛𝗲𝕖𝕨𝕖𝗯𝚗𝚘𝕧𝕖𝗹.𝗰𝗼𝕞

The commoners misunderstood her, the court officials oppressed her, and the emperor wanted her life. Why then would she fight to protect these people?

But in the end, people seemed to understand that she had her own steadfastness, and also her own helplessness.

She was a general, fighting for her father and brother’s honor, and her protection of the Great Dynasty of Landon was not for justice. What she guarded was stability, not the hearts of the people.

Only after faking her death and shedding that identity could she truly return to being herself.

In just three short months, "Suzy," the TV drama that wasn’t initially favored, exploded in popularity, with its viewership ratings soaring.

It even broke the fifteen-year viewership record of the satellite channel, and enjoyed the top spot on various website drama rankings, making Hannah a bona fide queen of ratings.

In the past, many people thought there was a thick wall between movies and television dramas, claiming that those who could make movies might not be able to make TV dramas, and vice versa.

Although Hannah had previously starred in "Fairy," which only had ten episodes, there were some differences in pacing compared to TV dramas.

But "Suzy" showed even more people the potential in Hannah.

Many TV drama producers sent their scripts to Hannah, but she didn’t accept any of them.

She had her own movie script in hand, a team especially put together for her by Arnold Simmons. The reason she chose "Suzy" in the first place was because the script was very much to her liking.

As for now... she planned to focus on movies.

To win awards.

International ones.

When she said this, her eyes were filled with pride and confidence.

Arnold Simmons reached out to pinch her face and leaned in, "You’re really ambitious, aren’t you?"

"My ambition has always been huge; you knew that from the start, didn’t you?" Hannah wrapped her arms around him, her luscious red lips puckered forward, enticingly inviting.

He drew close, the warmth of his breath falling on her, flushing her delicate, pale skin. Looking at the red lips inches away, he contentedly leaned in for a kiss.

After a long while, when he finally let go, he looked into the sparkling black eyes of the girl in his arms and whispered, "Sweet?"

Hannah nodded her head, delightedly clinging to his embrace, tapping his chin with her fingertip, "Yes, I just had some candy, orange-flavored. There’s also strawberry and watermelon flavor. Which one do you like?"

She had recently taken a liking to candy.

All kinds of fruit-flavored candy.

The sour-sweet taste made one’s mood exceptionally good.

Arnold Simmons pinched her cheek and smiled, asking her, "Which flavor do you like?"

Hannah thought seriously for a moment, "Orange."
