Chapter 1094: Chapter 1094: Captured
"Hannah Winter, it seems there’s nothing you can’t see through, huh?"
She lifted her head, her hand holding the knife slowly emerged from behind her, the smile at the corner of her mouth deepening, eyes wide open.
"You’re not Hannah Winter, are you?"
The focus in her eyes was lost, as if dissipating, finally settling back on Hannah.
"She told me, you’re not Hannah Winter."
As if talking to herself, she laughed and cried at the same time, raising the knife in her hand and taking steps toward Hannah.
"It was you who took everything from me, it wasn’t supposed to be like this, I’m a big star, they all love me, they all love me, I’m Mrs. River, they all have to bow before me, it was you who ruined me, it was you!"
She was trapped in her own delusion, repeating these words over and over, her movements with the knife sluggish and slow, yet each stroke was merciless.
She is Mrs. River.
George River loves her so much.
They all love her.
Hannah Winter deserves to die.
She deserves it.
Hannah watched the scene quietly, her lips curling into a smile as she stepped back, avoiding Tiffany Lynch’s knife.
She was like a siren softly singing in the deep sea, enticing the evil in people’s hearts, then watching them walk step by step towards their doom.
The blade was sharp, slicing through the thick night air time after time.
"Hannah Winter, would you please just die!"
For the last time, she screamed and rushed forward, the knife raised high in her hand.
Hannah turned her face away, the pearl earrings dangling from her ears swayed gently, bewitching.
Before Tiffany Lynch could react, her grip on the knife had already loosened.
Hannah raised her hand to catch the falling dagger. The next second. The cold blade was pointed straight at Tiffany Lynch’s neck.
She was forced to tilt her head back, looking into a pair of eyes with a hint of a smile.
"Greed, jealousy, evil thoughts. These are all human nature," Hannah spoke softly, the tip of the blade enticingly lifting the chin of the person before her, "But you need to learn to control them, not to be controlled by them, good and evil in one thought. Look at yourself now, how much you resemble the former Hannah Winter, you laugh at her self-degradation, her self-destruction, but aren’t you doing the same?"
Tiffany Lynch trembled, the coldness on her neck as if it could cut her skin at any moment.
The fear of death made her cry, her tears washed away the inferior makeup on her face, her eyes filled with terrifying red blood vessels.
She howled in frustration, trying to break free, "It’s not like this, it’s not like this, I can’t lose, it’s impossible, it’s you people, it’s your fault."
"Is that so?" Hannah let go of her hand, "It’s just I wonder if that statement will be of any use at the police station."
Tiffany Lynch was stunned, her whole body went cold, and without support, she collapsed to the ground. She looked up at the person before her, lips trembling, regaining consciousness, "What do you mean?"
Hannah: "Car accident, assistant, Tiffany Lynch, you really are bold."
Tiffany Lynch shook her head, hugging her legs and curling up in the corner, her expression somewhat vacant, "I don’t understand what you’re talking about."
Hannah walked over, speaking softly word by word, "Don’t worry, you will understand soon enough."
*
Tiffany Lynch was caught.
They say by the time she was brought to the police station she was already somewhat delirious, constantly muttering "I didn’t kill anyone, I’m a big star."
She wasn’t cooperating with the investigation, but the police had already obtained solid evidence and were about to prosecute her for multiple charges.
Assault with intent and... deliberate homicide.
