Chapter 1077: Chapter 1077: Unrecognizable
Jack Stewart was busy today, so picking up the guest naturally fell onto the shoulders of his assistant.
But he clearly underestimated the enthusiasm of Hannah’s fans and the prowess of the paparazzi.
Even though their schedule was only set at the last minute yesterday, there were paparazzi so skilled they had already come early to stake out the location.
"This is bad."
As the assistant was worrying to himself, a light, floating voice suddenly came from behind.
He turned around with a confused face, "Huh?"
Hannah looked at him, smiled, and deliberately teased him, "If Jack finds out, you’re definitely going to get your pay docked."
Reminded of his woes, the assistant held his head, very distressed, "Yeah, I’m doomed. Manager Stewart certainly won’t let me off the hook, but that’s not the issue. What are we going to do about today’s schedule?"
If they were to go down now, they would definitely be besieged.
Getting docked pay is a minor matter; the real fear was Hannah getting hurt.
"No worries."
As the assistant was fretting over whether to call Jack Stewart, Hannah had already reached for a pair of sunglasses nearby and put them on.
A pair of large sunglasses covered most of her face, yet the half of her face that remained exposed was still so exquisitely fair that one couldn’t look away.
While the assistant was still in a daze, Hannah took out a mirror.
She checked herself with extra care, then took off the sunglasses and put on a cap instead.
Pushing the cap down, it covered her beautiful eyes and brows, "I’m heading down first."
"Sure." The assistant nodded, and just as Hannah was pushing the car door open, he suddenly reacted, "Sis, you can’t just go down like that, you... "
He didn’t finish his sentence, as he saw fans glancing over, the assistant quickly covered his own mouth, watching helplessly as Hannah walked towards the crowd.
His heart was almost in his throat.
At the hotel entrance.
The fans were nearly all holding cameras, on tiptoes looking inside or paying attention to their surroundings.
At this time, no one would notice a girl in a cap wearing a simple long-sleeved denim pair of jeans approaching.
Even if they did, they only regarded her as another fan who had come along, glancing briefly before moving their gaze away.
The assistant watched from afar as Hannah walked around among the fans, even mischievously stopping right in front of one fan. He was sweating bullets from fear.
If it weren’t for the fact that several assistants had been seen by fans before and worried about being recognized and compromising Hannah, he really would have charged straight over.
Fortunately, no one recognized Hannah in the end.
Indeed, the most "dangerous" place is the safest.
The fans were all busy looking at the main road, which meant no one paid attention to what was right in front of them.
Watching Hannah’s figure head towards the back door, the assistant finally let out a sigh of relief.
*
The situation at the back door was much better than at the front, and along the way, they met hardly any pedestrians.
Occasionally, they bumped into a few fans who were hurrying towards the front entrance.
"Hurry up, if we’re late there won’t be any spots left. I heard that many people have been here since last night waiting."
"I don’t know if it’s such a good idea for us to gather like this, what if we disturb others..."
"What’s wrong with that? Isn’t this how it is with chasing stars nowadays? Don’t you want to see Hannah in person?"
"I do, but... Ah!" The girl was so caught up in chatting with her friend and walking fast that she wasn’t paying attention and bumped into someone.
The things in her hand almost dropped, but luckily, with quick reflexes, she caught them. Only then did she come back to her senses and think to apologize to the person she had bumped into.
