Chapter 1068: Chapter 1068: Breaking News One After Another

She shook her head in denial, silently hoping that the man in front of her would have a shred of pity for her, "Jimmy, we’ve known each other for so many years, do I really appear as such a vanity-loving woman in your heart?"

Jimmy said, "Isn’t that the case?"

"It’s not!" Tiffany Lynch cried out, unable to control her tears as they fell, "How can you treat me like this, Jimmy? How can you be so cruel when I’ve given up so much for you?"

She rushed forward, trying to grasp the man but was easily pushed away by Jimmy.

He then disdainfully pulled a tissue to wipe his hands, his gaze icy cold, "If you want to go crazy, get out and do it."

Tiffany stared into the man’s eyes, filled with loathing, her heart aching as she questioned him through her tears, "You like her, don’t you? Jimmy, tell me, have you fallen for her as well?"

Jimmy didn’t answer but turned his head to dial a number, saying indifferently, "Call security up."

Soon, several uniformed men entered and dragged the noisy Tiffany out.

By the time Tiffany was taken away, she had lost all reason. Her eyes, like knives laced with poison, she burst into laughter, "Jimmy, you like her, you like Hannah Winter, but it’s useless. She will never love you in this lifetime. The one she loves is Arnold Simmons, your enemy..."

The door closed, completely cutting off the woman’s screams.

But her words echoed in his ears like a curse.

Jimmy, frustrated, massaged the bridge of his nose, then picked up a glass from beside him and violently smashed it against the wall.

The glass shattered, the scene a complete mess.

His patience for Tiffany had long since worn thin.

The affections of their youth had dissipated; he was not George River, who held onto those youthful emotions like an obsession, ultimately ending up in such a sorry state.

To him, Tiffany was no different from any other ex-girlfriend. If there was anything at all, it was that so-called "life-saving grace."

Looking back now, it was truly laughable.

He had merely mentioned it in passing, and that woman had shown her true colors.

As for Arnold’s intentions to deal with her because of Hannah, what did it matter to him?

Jimmy, agitated, lit a cigarette, resting his hand on his knee. The doctor had told him he was healing well, the wound was no longer painful as it had been initially.

But such pain seemed to be etched into his mind.

Regarding memories from those two years, what exactly had happened.

That night, Jimmy had a dream both long and brief.

In the dream, it felt as though a year’s worth of events had passed, yet upon waking, it seemed as if only a minute had elapsed.

He remembered nothing, save for a pair of eyes brimming with laughter.

Under the starry sky, with the gentle evening breeze, he watched as an observer. Watching that "himself" gaze up at the person beside him, as if beholding a deity.

A vast sense of loss swept over him. He reached out to grasp something, but in the end, found only emptiness.

Those memories seemed to have solidified into another personality; once lost, they were truly gone.

Without Jimmy’s support, Tiffany stood no chance of influencing the already settled situation on her own.

People online had started to affirm that the previous incident had been Tiffany’s doing.

At first, it was only speculation, but in the following days, several anonymous accounts continuously leaked various incriminating information about Tiffany, including posts from erstwhile dedicated fans of hers.

The span of the exposed events was extensive.
