Chapter 1059: Chapter 1059: Thinking Too Simply

The final result came out, and Hannah hadn’t even discussed it with him beforehand, clearly treating him as an outsider.

His tone wasn’t very pleasant at this moment, face cold, but his gaze was eager.

Hannah set down her lipstick and poured him a glass of water, her eyes smiling as she offered it, "Drink water."

"Not thirsty," Jack Stewart answered subconsciously.

He looked down at her eyes and reached out to take the glass of water anyway.

He had drunk most of it before he internally chastised himself for not having any resolve at all, having decided earlier that day to show her his attitude and prove that he too had a temper.

Five minutes later...

"I’m not sure about the specifics, but it seems like Jimmy Simmons really isn’t planning to deal with Tiffany Lynch anymore; her studio still hasn’t responded to this point," he said, his voice growing colder. "Tiffany Lynch is really something too, as if the things from the past weren’t enough for her to learn her lesson. Thinking about opposing you all the time, just for a George River? She treats a jerk like a treasure and actually believes that the whole world wants to fight her for him."

Jack Stewart was probably one of the most informed people in the world about the entanglement between Hannah and Tiffany Lynch.

From the beginning, he had seen through George River’s true nature and despised such people the most.

As for Tiffany Lynch, he felt even less favorable towards her: always pretending to be aloof and unworldly, but in reality, she was more worldly than anybody else.

Otherwise, she wouldn’t always be emphasizing her background.

A wealthy Eldest Miss? A question of matching social status?

He found it laughable.

Holding the cup, Hannah’s slender, pale fingertips gradually took on a shade of pink from the water’s warmth. She said faintly, "If she truly loved George River madly, she wouldn’t have gotten together with Jimmy Simmons so quickly."

Upon reflection, Jack Stewart agreed, "But that’s useless anyway. She took it upon herself to dredge up the old affairs of the Simmons Family, and Jimmy Simmons must hate her to death now."

In fact, the whole thing was quite simple.

The affairs of the Simmons Family had caused such a stir back then, with even numerous paparazzi camping out in front of the police station, though even so, nothing had changed as a result.

Since public opinion hadn’t changed anything, and the official stance remained firm, what difference would it make to bring it up again now?

Hannah set down the water glass and curled her legs onto the couch, curling up into a ball and looking both delicate and small. She said, "Perhaps she was hoping that my situation would involve Arnold Simmons. Unfortunately for her, she has oversimplified the matter."

Such reckless behavior would only lead to her own downfall.

If it were anyone else but Tiffany Lynch, she might have had some concerns, but as for that person, Hannah really couldn’t care less.

After all, it was just a made-up world.

Bustling footsteps could be heard from outside; it seemed the interview preparation was beginning.

An online interview.

Its viewership was much higher than that of television and magazines, and naturally, there were more aspects for the interviewer to "dig deep" into.

It was because of this worry that Jack Stewart was particularly cautious in choosing when invitations came from multiple platforms at once.

Before sending Hannah off, he couldn’t help but remind her, "I’ve handled everything, if you encounter tricky questions you can just ignore them. With the current public’s tolerance for you, you could simply turn around and leave without anyone blaming you."

It was probably due to the current environment and circumstances that most onlookers viewed talent show artists through a lens of leniency.

Whether it was because of an issue with the fans or otherwise.
