Chapter 1023: Chapter 1023: This Time

They seemed destined to be enemies, trembling with fear embedded deep within their souls.

"Hannah Winter, this time, you will lose miserably!"

She almost gnashed her teeth, each word loaded with thick hatred, as if avenging a blood feud.

Feelings of hatred were stirred.

Just then, someone approached from a distance, abruptly disrupting the atmosphere.

The newcomer first greeted Hannah warmly and then turned back to see Tiffany Lynch, whose fierce expression was stuck mid-change, rigid and ferocious.

After pondering for a moment, the person said, "Isn’t this the lady who fell on the red carpet just now? Are you okay? It looked like you had quite a heavy fall."

Tiffany Lynch, finally recognized by someone, felt no joy, only a deep embarrassment, and glared at the newcomer before turning around and walking away.

The woman who had been glared at found it very odd, as she had meant well; she hadn’t expected such a cold reception.

Frowning, she felt quite dissatisfied with Tiffany Lynch, "She really lacks manners."

The woman was a well-known producer from abroad who had also been invited to the event.

Although it was the first time she had met Hannah, seeing the designer Khaloie’s fondness for her, and having heard she was an actress, they had chatted a bit more. 𝒇𝒓𝙚𝒆𝔀𝓮𝓫𝒏𝓸𝙫𝓮𝓵.𝓬𝙤𝙢

Now that the crowd had dispersed, she was eager to interact more with Hannah and had approached to greet her, taking the opportunity to inquire about the movie.

"I heard you have a movie that’s about to be released. I’ll be traveling to your area soon for work, and I’ll definitely go see it."

Hannah responded politely, "If you come, I’ll definitely give you a ticket to the premiere. You’re warmly welcome."

The woman smiled, her eyes expressing satisfaction, "Let’s agree on that, then."

Half an hour after the event ended, the journalists outside showed no signs of leaving, gathering in small groups.

Some were crouched on the ground, others sat on cars, and some kept an eye out for celebrities in disguise.

This time, Tiffany Lynch didn’t go forward to join them, for fear that someone would bring up her fall on the red carpet.

Just a moment ago, her agent handed her a phone, and the situation was worse than she had imagined.

The moment the journalists saw someone fall, they swarmed like flies, each scrambling to get photos. Seeing her own hideous expression in the pictures and the media’s sharp commentary almost made Tiffany smash her phone.

Frustrated and flustered, she tossed the phone aside and turned to her agent, "Have the photos been sent back home? Don’t you know to spend money to stop them?"

The agent could only reply, "They were sent back before the red carpet event even ended. Most of those taking photos are foreign journalists; even if we wanted to intercept them, our reach isn’t that long."

The agent’s tone was already rather polite.

There were some things she didn’t even dare to mention.

As soon as the photo was shared back home, the internet exploded with laughter.

Due to Tiffany Lynch’s self-destructive popularity with the general public, which had plummeted into the negatives, most people were mocking her for overestimating herself and trying to rub shoulders on the red carpet.

If it were just a few jokes, the agent would have thought nothing of it.

But alas, Hannah Winter’s photos came out absolutely stunning.

The comments below were uniformly filled with praise for her looks and demeanor, starkly contrasting with those of Tiffany Lynch.

The agent had predicted this outcome today, but Tiffany Lynch wouldn’t admit defeat and insisted on joining the fray.

Now she had truly lost face.

The agent sighed, wishing the artist she managed was Hannah Winter, which would have been so much less trouble.
