“Big sister, this is my decision! I won’t let you bully my big brother!” declared Shen Mengxue, raising an arm to protect Long Chen.
“You...!” Shen Qingxue stared at her cherished little sister. Her angry look made her heart ache.
“Big sister, this is my choice! You can’t blame big brother Long Chen!”
When she saw her sister’s pained expression, Shen Mengxue’s heart softened. She immediately ran over and hugged her. She knew that Shen Qingxue loved her more than anybody else, and she realized that her actions just now had hurt her big sister. However, now she had made her choice, and it couldn’t be fixed. There was nothing she could do, and there was no point in making a scene.
Shen Qingxue took a deep breath and calmed herself down. She rubbed her little sister’s head ruefully. “Fine, since it’s your choice, I will respect it!”
After saying that, she turned to Long Chen. “Don’t think that this little bit of power qualifies you to guide others. Are you able to bear the consequences of your actions?”
“I am,” said Long Chen casually.
Shen Qingxue was instantly provoked. “Based on what?!”
“Based on the fact that I can see further than you.”
“Hmph, and what exactly lets you see so far?”
“The fact that I look at things from a greater height.”
“I don’t believe you!”
“Never asked you to believe me.”
“Do you dare to fight!?” demanded Shen Qingxue.
Long Chen chuckled. “As long as you don’t cry after you lose. In addition, you have to call me big brother if I win!”
Shen Qingxue snorted. “Fine!”
Seeing the two of them once more turn hostile, Shen Mengxue tensed up. Shen Qingxue transmitted, “Don’t worry, I will show mercy!”
Hearing that, Shen Mengxue relaxed slightly. Xie Wanyi also looked at Long Chen, and Long Chen transmitted, “Don’t worry, I will show mercy!”
Hearing that the two of them were going to fight, everyone else was in an uproar. People ran off and quickly spread the news. Of course, after running off, they quickly returned; they still didn’t know when the two of them would fight.

The manifestation truly did appear, but it was so big that it caused space to crack. And as it grew clearer, people realized what it was, and they instantly cried out in shock.

“The divine staircase!”
People were filled with disbelief. Long Chen’s manifestation was the Spirit Awakening Divine Staircase! This made no sense whatsoever!
But even as they stood there in shock, an even more unbelievable sight appeared. The divine staircase manifestation burst apart, transforming into runes. Those runes suddenly ignited and merged, ultimately forming three thousand complete runes. These three thousand runes flowed into Long Chen’s body, and then back through his arm into the divine tablet.
Violet flames exploded out of the tablet. Violet ripples spread in every direction, and majestic divine might radiated through the world. The ripples directly tore through spatial boundaries and grand formations, spreading throughout every corner of the Violet Abyss.
“What is this?!”
Countless experts were startled. They saw the ripples and sensed the divine might. They all looked for the cause.
The divine tablet was still shuddering. Three thousand runes resonated between Long Chen and the divine tablet. These three thousand runes seemed to be communing with the runes on the tablet.
Long Chen’s eyes were closed as he sensed the fluctuations of the divine tablet. “I see. This tablet truly contains all phenomena of heaven and earth.
