"Please, Divine Turtle, I’m begging you. Let my young miss go inside," Nanny Lu pleaded, appearing before the turtle egg.

The guard captain was incredibly arrogant. With a wave of his hand, he ordered his subordinates to seize Lin Hao.
When Lin Hao had first entered Imperial City, the Lin family had sent people to find and assassinate him. Everyone in the Lin Mansion knew what Lin Hao looked like, so this guard captain naturally knew who he was.

With a crisp crack, the guard captain’s throat was crushed by Lin Hao.
This scene left the many guards aghast.
One had to understand, that guard captain was at the Soul Gathering Realm Third Layer, yet he had been obliterated before Lin Hao without even a chance to fight back.
A chill ran down their spines.
"Is the Lin family just a bunch of useless good-for-nothings? Lin Wu is truly a disappointment." Lin Hao’s gaze swept over them as he spoke calmly.
As Lin Hao’s eyes passed over them, they all shivered in unison. A sense of fear rose from the depths of their souls.
After speaking, Lin Hao walked straight forward. Not a single person dared to move.
Just as Lin Hao was about to pass through a large gate, another guard captain suddenly attacked, throwing a long spear.
Lin Hao didn’t break his stride. The spear flew back, several times faster than it had come.

"Insolent! How dare you speak the Patriarch’s name! While we weren’t trained by the Patriarch personally, we all passed his assessment, proving we can survive one of his attacks. That’s more than enough to kill you... How dare you!"
The young man hadn’t even finished speaking before he let out a furious roar and flashed toward one of his own members.
However, as fast as he was, he was still too late.
By the time he arrived, the member of the Annihilation Guard had already exploded.
Just then, Lin Hao’s voice rang out, "Survive one of his attacks, you say? I’m not so sure."
The young man whipped his head around and saw Lin Hao still standing in the exact same spot.
