Chapter 1448: Chapter 600: Bodhisattva’s Martial Hall (4)

"The one with the highest cultivation seems to be the Nanming Calamity Bird, as well as an old monk sitting beside the Reincarnation Black Lotus. Well, it’s not a big issue."

Qin Ming intends to approach, with friendly intent to climb the mountain.

At this moment, the Nanming Calamity Bird, Six Tusked White Elephant, and Golden Suanni each placed an incense stick in the broken ancient incense burner in front of the temple, then entered.

Qin Ming put the Two Puppets into the broken cloth, mainly to avoid being recognized.

The foundation of Great Leiyin Temple is too deep, existing for ancient ages; if someone were to wield the Intentional Treasure and identify the true origin of the Two Puppets, it would be troublesome.

Speaking of which, Qin Ming has some ties with Great Leiyin Temple; years ago, while practicing the Golden Cicada Scripture, he unlocked the Secret Treasure, and upon witnessing the New World, he entered the Void Realm projected by Great Leiyin Temple and acquired the Divine Cicada Scripture.

Qin Ming approaches the temple with a calm mind, like a Banished Immortal, intending to form a benevolent connection here.

"Patron, this temple has been closed to outsiders for thousands of years," spoke the old monk who had once welcomed guests; he is a genuine Grandmaster and at the mid-stage.

Qin Ming said, "Master, these words are incorrect. If your esteemed temple is to be sealed, how can it enlighten the world and guide all beings?"

The old monk said, "The Buddha has destined ones."

Qin Ming pointed to the few Great Demons heading into the depths of the ancient temple and said, "Buddha said all beings are equal; they can enter, so why can’t I come to see Buddha? Master, why discriminate—do living beings have different ranks? Or is it that the master wants to stand between Buddha and the multitude?"

The old monk looked at him repeatedly and finally smiled, inviting him inside, saying, "If you have come to see the Buddha, you ought to show reverence."

He gestured, inviting Qin Ming to light an incense stick.

Qin Ming said, "Master, lend me an incense stick."

The old monk said, "Patron, this incense is valued at one hundred and eighty thousand destinies."

Qin Ming asked, "Entering to burn incense and worship Buddha, it’s a matter of sincere devotion; why is the price so exorbitant?"

The old monk pressed his palms together and said, "If the heart is sincere, a single thought arises, and there are one hundred and eighty thousand destinies, making it possible to see our Buddha."

Qin Ming said, "My connection with your temple arose from the Golden Cicada Scripture; today, let’s not dwell on formalities. Master, do not be attached to forms; today I come here with the intention to form another benevolent connection."

A Great Demon spoke, "Where did this Wild Man come from, daring to act impudently in the Bodhisattva’s Martial Hall? You’re asked to burn incense and kowtow; just comply with reverent devotion, why prattle?"

He came fiercely with disheveled hair and said, "I think you want to start trouble, right? As a newly promoted Dharma Guardian Vajra, I should transcend you."

He reached out a large hand, accompanied by terrifying raptor claw light and shadows, intending to cover Qin Ming completely, showcasing the Grandmaster’s aura, distorting the night sky.

Normally, with the power of this claw, even a mountain would shatter.

Seeing the old monk unmoved, Qin Ming smiled and said, "Demons enter the zen temple, causing havoc upon the world. I am destined with Buddha; today, I come to pay the fruit, purging the impurity here."

He too reached out, chaotic heavenly light surged, transformed into a large hand, entirely covering the giant claw and the disheveled-haired Great Demon.

With a pop, Qin Ming crushed a Grandmaster with one grasp.

The Great Demon screamed miserably, its Pure Yang Consciousness resurged, attempting to struggle free.

However, in Qin Ming’s palm, it was as if a black hole existed, where the Grandmaster-level Pure Yang Consciousness flickered fiercely, yet it extinguished in the shortest possible time.

"You..." The old monk attempted to save the Great Demon, evidently too late.

In the ancient temple, the chanting voice grew more magnificent, as though many Arhats were about to manifest, and it seemed that Bodhisattva shadows were about to personally descend upon this realm.

Seeing the old monk’s golden hand coming his way, Qin Ming remained unmoved like a mountain, his protective light screen roared, expanding outward, directly suppressing the trembling of the Grandmaster-level old monk incessantly.

The old monk posed as an Angry-eyed Vajra, revealing his Dharma Form, enormously trying again to suppress the young figure ahead.

Qin Ming merely pointed out a single forefinger, touching the old monk’s golden palm, and the golden Dharma Form of this Old Grandmaster immediately shrank; he was uncontrollably collapsed to the ground with a thud.

The Golden Suanni roared, this demon very powerful, suddenly soared across the sky.

Qin Ming still pointed out one finger, and the Suanni howled in pain, directly kneeling on the ground, bowing to Qin Ming as if worshiping.

In the depths of the temple, several Buddha Sons and Buddhist nuns, all suddenly opened their eyes, gazing this way.

Qin Ming stood unmoved, standing firm here, with the old monk and Golden Suanni at his feet, shivering endlessly.
