Zou's eyes widened when he heard and digested what Tim had sworn to him. it all made sense now to Zou. Well not all of what Tim had said made sense.
But the aspect of the followers, the summons that were powerful and all the unusual events that had happened in their battle started to make sense.
He was up against a royal elf. Generally, elves were proud and powerful beings. But that did not mean that other species could not go against them.
The regular elves were usually strong, but the royal elves were the cream of the crop. No matter the region where the royal elf belonged to or the kingdom. They were always born to be exceptionally strong.
Everything started to make much sense in his head. It was weird that Tim did not seem to posses even a speck of mana, but Zou on his own concluded that it was possibly because of an enchantment to cloak his mana signature.
He also falsely concluded by himself that the summons were either pets that he brought along to battle or they were his core specialty.
It was not unheard of to see Mages learning to summon and tame monsters.
Zou pieced together a false conclusion to bring reason to all that he had witnessed, and he accepted it.
The wind was pushed as Tim accelerated towards Zou and did a vertical swing towards Zou with all the strength and force that he could muster.
BAM!
Zou blocked the strike horizontally, but his knees bent sue to the sheer force of the strike. Now it was a battle of strength.
Tim was pressing down on Zou with his sword, while Zou was in an awkward position, although he was backed the aura energy. If not he would have been cut in half.
"You are a freak. You are enjoying this. This is not the behavior of a royal elf!" Zou yelled, when he saw the crazed smile on Tim's face.
