“The last three!”
Only three skill star cores remained suspended in the skill space: Summon Bone Dragon, Raise Dead, and Infinite Fusion.
Coincidence or fate—these were the exact skills Ye Lin acquired upon reaching level 80.
Among other class users, level 80 skills were often called the strongest skills, with some even exaggerating them as ultimate skills.
Lin Moyu had to admit the title was deserved, especially in regard to Infinite Fusion.
Its existence opened limitless possibilities for his skills.
With dozens of skills at his disposal, the possible combinations were endless. What effects those combinations might ultimately produce was impossible to predict.
His soul force seized one skill star core and pulled it from the skill space.
The process was effortless. The binding force of the skill space posed no resistance, breaking apart under the slightest exertion.
Feeling the vast reserve of soul force within him, Lin Moyu was confident he could clear all the remaining skill star cores at this level.
As the skill star core entered his soul world, it immediately began absorbing soul force.
Antares was ready. Still using True God 1st tier power, he struck.
This time, Lin Moyu did not use Bone Armor for defense.
Each blow was powerful enough to destroy the undead army three times over.
After two consecutive strikes, the Comprehensive Rebirth talent triggered.
Had Bone Armor been active, it would have taken three True God 1st tier attacks to trigger the talent, four if the Undeath Lich were included.
Once the talent was triggered, all his skills reset.
To truly kill Lin Moyu, one would have to repeat that same attack four times within one minute.
Four consecutive True God 1st tier attacks, while using soul tracking, all within one minute… That was far from easy.
And Lin Moyu was not a stationary target.
Deathwings could sever soul lock and break soul tracking altogether.
Even Antares had to marvel. Among those of the same level, this brat’s survival ability was simply unmatched.
As the skill star core filled with soul force, a law art star burst forth from the eruption.
The soul force flowing back into him pushed his soul rank slightly higher again.
Lin Moyu could feel his soul rank nearing the limit of level 94.
With two skill star cores remaining, he believed converting both into law art stars would allow his soul rank to break into level 95.
And every increase in soul rank meant a dramatic rise in combat power.
The new law art star shot toward the multiple-star summon-type law art system and fused into it instantly.
The soul world trembled violently.
[Summon Bone Dragon (100% fusion rate): summons a Bone Dragon. Usually dormant within the star, it is connected to the Undeath World and can descend into reality when needed. Its combat power is determined by the master’s soul rank.]
With the birth of this law art, the Dragon lair attribute disappeared.
The Bone Dragons now appeared upon the law art star, awaiting Lin Moyu’s summons.
“A seven-star law art!”
Lin Moyu’s heart surged with excitement as he watched seven stars intertwine and rotate.
Seven star-grade summon-type law arts had formed a seven-star law art system.
Its power had been amplified yet again.
Ordinarily, a soul art’s upper limit matched Lin Moyu’s soul rank.
But from three-star law art onward, that limit could break free from the restriction of soul rank.
And with every additional star, the law art’s power rose exponentially.
At the seven-star level, even Lin Moyu no longer knew how powerful his summon-type skills had become.
He did not test them. Not yet. He wanted to save the surprise for the end.
His gaze drifted toward the law art planet representing Summon Skeletal King.
If it too became a law art star and joined the system, it would form an eight-star law art.
In the greater world, ten-star law arts were a myth no one had ever witnessed.
Nine-star law arts were so rare they could be counted on one’s fingers.
As for eight-star law arts, they were already considered the pinnacle.
Lin Moyu vowed silently: “Sooner or later, I will forge an eight-star law art.”
Upgrading a planet-grade law art into a star-grade one was far more difficult than the initial sublimation and transformation, but not impossible.
Lin Moyu was confident he could achieve it.
Only two skill star cores remained. Acting like a bandit once again, Lin Moyu entered the skill space and dragged one out.
This time, the resistance was noticeably stronger.
The binding force had increased significantly, but unfortunately for the skill space, Lin Moyu’s soul force was stronger still.
After a brief struggle, he tore the skill star core free.
Antares asked in a deep voice, “Only two left, right?”
Lin Moyu smiled faintly, “Reluctant to part with it?”
He knew Antares wanted to keep observing the tiny black dot. Though Lin Moyu didn’t know exactly what it was, he knew it was important.
Antares sighed, “Yeah. After these two chances, who knows if I’ll ever see it again.”
As Lin Moyu poured in his soul force, he asked, “Can it only be seen when a skill transforms into a star?”
“Not necessarily. It’s just much harder otherwise. And regardless, it’s still far beyond your current level.”
Lin Moyu didn’t press. If it was distant, he would reach it eventually.
Pointing toward the law art planets, he said, “There are still three planets with a chance to become stars. You’ll get another chance then.”
Antares shook his head, “To difficult. Once you miss that first opportunity, transforming them later becomes infinitely harder.”
“I’ll try. I have confidence. Alright, begin.”
Once Lin Moyu’s soul force was drained again, Antares moved at once.
After so many collaborations, they were perfectly synchronized.
One killed without restraint; the other died without hesitation.
At the razor’s edge between life and death, the talent erupted in brilliant purple light.
After two rounds, the law art star formed amid the flames.
As soul force flowed back into him, Lin Moyu’s soul rank touched the bottleneck of level 95, only a tiny step away before a breakthrough.
Then the impossible happened.
The law art star did not rise. Instead, it shot off in a specific direction.
“How is this possible?”
“It actually…”
Lin Moyu stared in shock as the law art star flew directly into his summon-type multiple-star system, merging with it seamlessly and instantly elevating it into an eight-star law art.
He had never expected Raise Dead to also belong to the summon-type category.
The soul world trembled violently, even more fiercely than before.
Eight stars revolved around one another, radiating magnificent light.
At their center, the law of undeath manifested with unprecedented clarity.
A vast surge of power swept through the soul world, as though the eight-star law art were proclaiming its birth.
The combined radiance fused into a blazing brilliance that eclipsed every other star.
[Raise Dead (100% fusion rate): using a corpse or soul as a medium, resurrect the target for a certain period. The resurrected possesses the strength of their peak in life, retains all memories, and receives bonuses from law arts and talents. The master has absolute control over the resurrected and can manipulate their thoughts and actions at will. Maximum duration is determined by the master’s soul rank.]
The transformation from skill to law art brought enormous changes.
Previously, Lin Moyu could resurrect the dead only as mindless servants, stripped of memory and capable of following simple commands.
Now, the resurrected retained their memories and peak power.
With bonuses from law arts and talents, they could become stronger than they had been in life.
Most importantly, they obeyed Lin Moyu absolutely. He could alter their memories, behavior, and thoughts.
The duration, too, was no longer fixed at twenty-four hours, but scaled with his soul rank.
As for how long it could truly last, even Lin Moyu didn’t yet know.
But one thing was certain—this law art was heaven-defying.
