The transformation of skills into law arts was a path all races must eventually walk.
Though there were countless approaches, they all converged at the same destination.
The beginnings and journeys may differ, but the end was nearly identical.
It was much like realms—no matter what they were called before, once one surpassed the Transcendent God realm, they were known as True God.
This was a universal term used by all races across the greater world.
Antares knew well that most individuals possessed law art planets at most, and even then, the number was limited.
Throughout one’s growth, many skills could be learned, but transforming every skill into a law art was nearly impossible.
Many Transcendent Gods had only three to five law art planets. Those who reached ten were already exceedingly rare.
As for law art stars, many might not even attain a single one.
Law art stars belonged exclusively to geniuses.
But even for geniuses, they usually only had two or three law art stars.
From Antares’s recollection, possessing two law art stars was enough to earn the title of genius, while five elevated one to the rank of prodigy.
But someone like Lin Moyu… he was on an entirely different level.
Antares could already envision him wielding a dozen or even twenty law art stars, including multiple-star law arts.
Such potential could no longer be described as merely prodigy. Even the most freakish prodigies Antares had witnessed in the greater world had never reached such heights.
Perhaps monster was the only fitting term.
“If one day all of the brat’s law arts become star-grade… what a spectacle that would be.” Antares thought to himself, anticipation rising in its eyes.
Yet the thought of the greater world runes’ suppression stirred unease within him.
“I should warn the brat not to grow arrogant. The greater world is full of dangers; overconfidence can lead to trouble.”
Lin Moyu, however, paid no mind to such distant concerns. He had no idea what the unequaled powerhouses of the greater world were like.
They were far beyond his current reach.
He knew exactly what mattered now: remain grounded and advance step by step.
Under his effort, the skill star core left its place of origin and settled into a more suitable location.
As soul force poured into it, the skill star core began to radiate dazzling light, more brilliant than when it was in the skill space.
Within the soul world, the stars blazed brightly, casting their brilliance upon the newcomer.
The stars’ light flickered, as if offering a greeting.
Antares had been waiting patiently, anticipating the moment Lin Moyu’s soul force would run dry.
Right on cue, less than two minutes later, the long-awaited prompt came: “Go ahead.”
The mist churned violently as Antares lifted his massive head, then slammed it down.
He actually used his head like a hammer to smash into Lin Moyu.
At the same time, he even said, “How is it? My newly developed killing method—not bad, right?”
Antares’s head was larger than a hundred Lin Moyus combined, its weight unimaginable.
Each strike of it meant certain death.
The Undeath Undead skill activated again and again. After the fourth death, the purple glow finally emerged.
Only then did Antares stop, waiting for the next cycle.
After three full cycles of this dance with death, the skill star core was finally satiated.
As Lin Moyu’s level rose, so did his soul force.
Previously, it had taken nearly four cycles to satiate a skill star core. Now, just three were enough.
Lin Moyu estimated that with another level-up, perhaps only two cycles would suffice.
Antares entered Lin Moyu’s soul world as if it were his own domain, his gaze fixed on the blazing skill star core.
Boom!
With a thunderous blast, a law art star was born from the flames, radiant and resplendent.
For half a second, a tiny black dot appeared within the fire, then vanished without a trace.
Antares once again fell into a state of contemplation.
Lin Moyu didn’t know what he had seen, but it must have been something valuable.
Such profound matters were still beyond his reach.
As Lin Moyu reflected, he realized that the stronger he became, the more secrets this world revealed.
History had long been buried, yet he had been steadily uncovering it with curiosity.
He had come to understand the events of the current age and had even encountered remnants of the previous one.
But upon reaching a higher level, he discovered the existence of the greater world—a realm whose mysteries far exceeded those of his current world.
Countless secrets still awaited him.
From his time with Antares, he had gained a fair amount of knowledge and a basic understanding of the greater world.
However, he also noticed that Antares himself didn’t seem to know much about it.
The Dragon Race was so overwhelmingly powerful that they paid little attention to external matters, relying instead on brute strength.
To them, problems could be solved with a punch.
While all races valued power, the human race was far less extreme in this regard.
Before his eyes, a new law art star emerged from the flames.
It glowed with a silver-white fire, carrying a faint law aura—the law of undeath.
It spun continuously. Instead of remaining its own independent entity, it drifted toward other law art stars.
Originally, his soul world held a two-star law art formed by Bone Fangs and Bone Prison.
Now, a third star joined them.
Drawn together by a mysterious force, the three law art stars formed a unique formation—each orbiting the others in a delicate balance.
“A three-star law art.” Lin Moyu murmured.
Though he had long anticipated this possibility, excitement still surged within him as it became reality.
“I wonder what skill it is.”
Lin Moyu checked eagerly.
[Bone Armor (100% fusion rate): summons an armor from the undeath world formed from bones. The armor’s defense depends on the soul rank. It can also be cast on others.]
So, it was Bone Armor. Thinking back, he hadn’t used the skill in quite some time.
As his strength grew, especially after mastering the Undeath Undead skill, combined with the Comprehensive Rebirth talent, defense had become less of a concern.
Against powerful enemies, Bone Armor’s protection had become insufficient.
Even with the talent’s boost, several hundred thousand points of defense were no longer impressive.
After activating Focus Power, his physique far surpassed what Bone Armor could provide.
Gradually, the skill had fallen out of use.
But now, it had evolved into a star-grade law art and formed a three-star law art with Bone Fangs and Bone Prison. There was no telling how much stronger it had become.
Its defense depended on his soul rank. But it remained to be seen just how powerful it was.
“Hey, a three-star law art? Not bad!” Antares’s voice suddenly rang out.
He had awakened from his comprehension of the tiny black dot.
Lin Moyu asked, “Did you gain anything this time?”
“So-so. You can’t expect gains every time; this thing is pretty advanced.” Antares replied modestly.
Lin Moyu could tell at a glance that he hadn’t gained anything.
If he had, he’d already be bragging.
Still, Lin Moyu chose not to call him out, “It’s fine. There are still over a dozen chances left. You can keep watching.”
Antares turned his gaze to the three orbiting stars, “Do you see that?”
“See what?” Lin Moyu frowned, confused.
Antares replied, “The center of the three stars. What’s there?”
The center? Lin Moyu focused carefully.
His soul perception was far sharper than his physical sight.
Gradually… he began to notice something unusual.
