Chapter 266: Closing Remark.

Finally, NKP (Naruto: Konoha’s Psychic) can be considered complete.

For me, this is more than just the end of a story—it’s the first novel I’ve ever truly finished. That alone means a lot. I’ve started many stories before, but I always left them behind midway. This time, I didn’t.

And that matters.

I won’t pretend the journey was smooth. Many of you who have been here since the beginning know that there was a time when my support was at its peak—nearly 300 people standing behind my work (on Patreon). Now, that number has fallen to less than 50.

Most of that is on me. Maybe I didn’t always deliver what I should have. Maybe I lost direction at times.

But the truth is, I kept going.

There were moments when I doubted everything—when I jumped from one idea to another, thinking, "Maybe this one will work... maybe this time it’ll be different." I saw small rises, followed by the same falls. Alongside that, life itself wasn’t at its best, and I made mistakes.

Still, I wrote.

For those of you who were hoping to see Inoiki fight in the Boruto section—against characters like Boruto: Naruto Next Generations villains such as Isshiki Ōtsutsuki or Momoshiki Ōtsutsuki—you’re probably disappointed. The truth is, I’m not very fond of Boruto, especially the earlier parts. The newer part, Blue Vortex, has been better so far.

My biggest issue with Boruto is that it promises world-destroying power, but that scale rarely feels real in the actual fights. Compare that to Naruto: Shippuden—those battles truly felt like world-ending conflicts. Even in Dragon Ball Z, when planetary-level characters fight, the destruction reflects that scale.

In Boruto, however, you often see supposedly god-tier characters clashing in a village without even a village being destroyed (just two three houses gets destroyed), which feels inconsistent. For casual viewers, this might not matter much, but for someone like me—who carefully researches power levels and scaling across different series—it becomes frustrating. That’s one of the main reasons I couldn’t continue watching Boruto.

I was especially disappointed when the regular Kage could fight someone like Momoshiki and Kinshiki for an extended period (I know there are explanations for it but that doesn’t satisfy me. ’Power to Split World.’). A few exchanges would have been understandable, but lasting that long just didn’t feel right.

That said, I won’t completely rule it out. If Blue Vortex turns out well once it’s completed, I might bring Inoiki back. After all, he hasn’t truly ended—he has only disappeared, and he can return at any time.

Lastly, thank you to everyone who has supported me throughout this journey of NKP. I truly appreciate it.

Thank you very much.
