Harumiko modestly shook her head. "No, no. While my physical abilities are good, I’m still not as strong as you. Regardless, I admire you greatly."
Hiroshi smiled and nodded. "I didn’t expect to become so famous from this fight. It’s unexpected."
Harumiko smiled. "People admire those stronger than themselves. They all believe strength makes the leader—no question about it."
"Ding! Host has earned a girl’s admiration. Charm +1."
Hiroshi nodded, smiling. They had reached Harumiko’s doorstep.
"Alright, let’s not waste time. We’ll work hard together to reach the top of Konoha. Go home; it’s late. I’ll go home and rest too. Today was tiring," Hiroshi said, smiling.
Harumiko nodded, and they said goodbye, heading home.
"School is so boring, but today I showed off my strength and crushed my enemies. It feels great. Ichiryu won’t bother me again," Hiroshi thought.
"Ichiryu is a genius, at least I think so. If Itachi had been the one to pick a fight, I wouldn’t have been so sure of winning," he mused.
As Hiroshi thought, Ichiryu, despite his talent, was arrogant and easily defeated.
If Hiroshi’s opponent had been Itachi, he might not have won.
But given Hiroshi’s rate of improvement, he’d likely defeat Itachi soon, especially with his secrets.
Defeating Ichiryu had earned him the chance to become a Chunin.
Hiroshi didn’t immediately upgrade. He anticipated a lengthy process, so he planned to do it while sleeping. He’d likely wake up as a Chunin, which would be delightful.
Today had been wonderful. He’d won the hearts of three girls and defeated his former bully.
"I feel... incredibly happy," Hiroshi thought, genuinely happy as he walked home.
