Chapter 62: NASM: Chapter 62
Hiroshi’s popularity had exploded. He started with Harumiko, and now he’d gained two more admirers. His impressive performance had earned him many fans, both male and female.
It was truly remarkable: a perennial underachiever had become a school celebrity and the top student overnight.
While there were many talented students, no one had ever made such a dramatic leap from last place to first. He was unique.
Naruto Uzumaki, from the original story, was also a perennial underachiever, initially weak and mischievous. Yet, he became a hero of Konoha, a testament to his perseverance.
Initially, the villagers doubted Naruto, but after he became a hero, they admired him greatly. He even became the Seventh Hokage.
Hiroshi and Naruto shared a striking similarity: both started as underachievers and rose to become powerful figures. Now, Hiroshi was essentially Naruto’s older brother.
I wonder what Hiroshi did these past few days. To go from dead last to first place is incredible. Not just me, but the whole school is impressed. His fame has spread like wildfire, Harumiko thought, watching Hiroshi sleep at his desk.
Hiroshi’s influence was immense. Teachers and students, those who had bullied him and those who hadn’t, now viewed him differently. They believed he was a highly talented ninja.
However, a small minority suspected he’d used some kind of special item to achieve first place.
These doubters believed he’d cheated.
It wasn’t entirely unreasonable. After all, he had been a perennial underachiever. His sudden rise to the top was hard for many to believe.
Yet, in a world teeming with prodigies, many also believed Hiroshi had become a genius overnight.
Konoha had many ninjas who lacked natural talent but achieved legendary status through sheer hard work. Might Guy, for instance, had no special talent and used taijutsu.
Yet, he became known as "Might Guy, the Legendary Might Guy." He was unwavering in his dedication, training relentlessly until he surpassed his limits, aiming to surpass Kakashi.
Before the system, Hiroshi had also trained diligently, believing hard work would pay off. But for over a year, his progress had been stagnant. He’d make small gains, only to regress later, regardless of how many hours he trained.
