"I didn’t expect these kids to have been training during the break. They’re all taking this seriously.

Ichiryu is definitely going to win this," Asuma mused, watching the students take their turns.

Ichiryu was the top student in the class; Hiroshi had always been at the bottom, but aside from Ichiryu and Harumiko, no one knew Hiroshi’s current abilities.

"Hiroshi, it’s my turn. You can rest. I’ll be done soon, so get ready," Harumiko said, smiling before stepping up for her test.

Hiroshi nodded. Harumiko walked to the testing area and produced ten shuriken.

Most students chose shuriken due to their smaller size and lighter weight compared to kunai.

"Harumiko, your total score is 88. Currently, you’re in second place. Hiroshi, you’re next," Asuma announced.

"Look, the perennial dead last is up! I bet he’ll score below fifty."

"Fifty? No way! I bet he won’t even reach twenty. I’ll bet you a meal on it."

Hiroshi ignored the jeers. They were ignorant of his true strength, and he had no time for their taunts.

"Ichiryu’s currently in first place with 89 points. Not that high. Let me show you what real strength is," Hiroshi muttered with a smile as he stepped into position.

He produced ten kunai from his pouch—the first contestant to use kunai.

"No way! Is he crazy?! Using kunai? He’s asking for trouble."

"This is it. He won’t even get ten points."

Everyone except Harumiko was skeptical; she watched with hopeful anticipation.

"Go, Hiroshi! You can do it," she silently cheered him on.

Hiroshi preferred kunai to shuriken; their size and weight allowed for more direct, impactful damage, unlike the lighter, almost frivolous shuriken.

"Alright, let’s begin my performance," he declared.

He spread his ten kunai, instantly launching eight towards the targets.

In a flash, he threw the remaining two with maximum force.

These two kunai, incredibly fast and powerful, quickly caught up with the first eight.

All ten kunai collided mid-air with a resounding clang, then dispersed in a flurry towards their respective targets.
