Chapter 38: NASM: Chapter 38

"You two, be gentle! I just want you to test his strength. I’ll fight him myself later," Yamakei Ichiryu yelled to his underlings.

Uzumaki Hiroshi smiled, tightened his grip on his weapon, and charged at the two underlings.

"Clang! Bang! Crash!"

In an instant, Uzumaki Hiroshi was locked in battle. The underlings couldn’t land a single blow. He deflected every attack.

"What’s going on? How is this possible?!" one underling exclaimed, disbelieving Hiroshi’s strength.

Seeing the underling’s distraction, Uzumaki Hiroshi lunged forward, landing a punch to his stomach. "Never get distracted in a fight, or you’ll lose your life!" he whispered.

The underling spat out blood and flew back, crashing into a tree.

"This... this is impossible! You couldn’t be this strong! You must be cheating!" the remaining underling stammered, panicked by his friend’s defeat.

Uzumaki Hiroshi smiled. "Your intelligence is truly questionable. Even if I used something to enhance my strength, it’s my business. But I’m right here, and I haven’t cheated. It’s understandable that you don’t believe it."

Uzumaki Hiroshi sheathed his weapon. He didn’t need it; he could defeat them with his bare hands.

"Ding! Defeated an enemy: +100 experience points."

"Ding! Established dominance: +10 reputation points."

Before the underling could react, Uzumaki Hiroshi was upon him.

"Rasengan!"

A blue sphere formed in his right hand, spinning rapidly, creating a vortex in the air.

He’d learned the Rasengan from his adoptive father, Minato Namikaze. His original weakness had hindered his progress for over a year, but with the system, its power had increased dramatically.

Uzumaki Hiroshi launched the fully formed Rasengan at the underling’s abdomen. The underling’s clothes began to twist.

"Aaargh! It hurts!" the underling cried, tears welling up, but Hiroshi didn’t stop.

After five seconds, the Rasengan dissipated. The underling flew backward, crashing into a large rock, spitting out blood. His clothes were torn to shreds.
