Chapter 16: NASM: Chapter 16

"Weapon, weapon, appear now! Ugh, I’m never saying that again. It’s so childish and cheesy!" Uzumaki Hiroshi reluctantly said the words.

As soon as he finished, the card in his hand floated in front of him, transforming into a short sword.

"What? It’s just a normal-looking short sword? Did I get disappointed again?" Uzumaki Hiroshi was disappointed. He hadn’t expected it to be such an ordinary-looking short sword—at least, that’s what he thought at first.

But as Uzumaki Hiroshi felt a pang of disappointment, the short sword changed color, shifting from black to white, then finally to red, the entire process taking only two seconds.

Next to the sword was a small card reading: Instructions.

"Whoa, my sword changes color, and it ended up red—or crimson, actually—and it comes with instructions? This is so typical of this system!" Uzumaki Hiroshi muttered, frowning slightly.

He picked up the short sword and the instructions.

"Not bad, not bad. This short sword looks ordinary, but the moment I touched it, I felt immense, unfathomable power.

And it looks really cool!" Uzumaki Hiroshi said with a smile, sensing something unusual the moment he touched the sword.

He placed the short sword on the ground and carefully read the instructions.

"This sword has quite a history. Weapons like this are rare in the Naruto world! But this is just an ordinary orange-grade weapon.

I wonder what the higher-grade weapons are like!" Uzumaki Hiroshi said with a smile after reading the instructions.

He put the instructions in his pocket, picked up the short sword, and stood up.

Looking at the crimson short sword, he smiled. "Since you’re such a crimson red, I’ll call you Crimson!"

"Now that you have a name, let’s test your power. Let’s see what kind of unfathomable power you possess."

Uzumaki Hiroshi walked to the stream with the short sword.

He infused it with some chakra and swung it vertically.

"Hiss..."

A crimson blade of energy, accompanied by a hissing sound, shot forward.

The blade sliced a large tree in half, then continued, splitting three more trees before dissipating.

"Wow, that’s incredibly powerful! If I’m not mistaken, in any large-scale battle, I just need to stand far away and swing!"

"But I still know very little about this sword. There’s much more I don’t know. I’ll have to study it more later!" Uzumaki Hiroshi said, looking enviously at his crimson short sword.
