Chapter 364: Chapter 363: Those Fairies Are Not Worthy

Glaring at Jiang Zuo, Su Qi nevertheless led him slowly aboard the great ship.

The ship was pitch-black and deathly silent.

The deck even creaked as they stepped onto it.

It was as if the ship was so old it could collapse at any moment.

"This ship seems rather ordinary," Su Qi said, looking around.

But Jiang Zuo shook his head. "That’s precisely why it’s special—because it looks so ordinary."

"Nothing else emerged from that strange, dense fog—only this. There’s no way it’s an ordinary ship." ’And yet, not a single one of the life auras I sensed earlier has appeared.’

Jiang Zuo then used the Fire Element to test the deck planks. "Besides, even though the ship looks fragile, the material is exceptionally good."

His Fire Elemental Minion couldn’t leave even the slightest scorch mark.

"Want to check out the cabin?" Su Qi asked.

Su Qi wanted to see what this ship was all about, but she had to consider Jiang Zuo’s feelings.

’What if he gets scared?’

Jiang Zuo was about to nod when he saw the back of Su Qi’s hand suddenly flash with light.

"Look at your hand," Jiang Zuo said, surprised.

Startled, Su Qi froze for a moment when she saw her hand, and then she seemed to realize something.

She immediately took Jiang Zuo’s hand. "We’ll probably see something soon. Don’t worry."

The moment the mark lit up, Su Qi felt it begin to resonate with their surroundings. ’It looks like this place is connected to the Holy Land.’

’Holding his hand might let him see it too. It’s just a possibility, but it’s worth a try.’

In reality, the mark on Jiang Zuo’s own hand was also flickering, but neither of them noticed.

Still, Jiang Zuo had a good idea of what Su Qi was talking about. After all, this wasn’t his first time experiencing something of this nature.

The next moment, the entire ship underwent a tremendous transformation.

A gloomy aura emanated from the ship as all signs of decay vanished, leaving it looking unnaturally new, as if it had just been built.

"What do you think? Not a bad ship, eh? It can take you across any sea in the world. It can even sail the Netherworld River." The voice suddenly reached Jiang Zuo and Su Qi’s ears.

They exchanged a glance, then turned to look behind them.

Two figures now stood on the ship’s bow behind them: a young woman and a man dressed in white.

’The Lord of the Immortal Spirit Mansion? Then the girl must be the younger sister from the Qin Family,’ Jiang Zuo thought.

Su Qi recognized the young woman as well.

Just then, the young woman shook her head. "I don’t like it."

The man froze. "What’s wrong with it?"

"It’s so dreary," the young woman said, displeased. "Anyone who didn’t know better would think the place is haunted."

Su Qi nodded. ’She had a point.’

"Why are you nodding?" Jiang Zuo asked.

Su Qi looked at him. "Don’t you think she has a point?"

Jiang Zuo ignored her.

Just then, the man snapped his fingers, and Jiang Zuo and Su Qi watched as the entire ship underwent another heaven-and-earth-shaking transformation.

The gloomy aura receded, and Immortal Spirit Qi filled every corner, making the entire ship bright and radiant.

"How about now?" the man asked.

"More Immortal Spirit Qi?" the young woman pouted.

The man nodded. "But you’re the one who said you liked the Immortal Spirit Aura."

"I say I like the Immortal Spirit Aura, so you change your cave mansion to the Immortal Spirit Cave Mansion and your title to Immortal Spirit Venerable? Did you think I’d fall for you just because of that?" the young woman demanded.

"It’s not?" the man asked.

"No." Then she added, "I’d like you anyway, even if you didn’t change a thing."

The man chuckled. "Still, I’m not really worthy of a title like ’Supreme.’ Your brother is the true Supreme Powerhouse."

"My brother is the worst. He never lets me go out with you, always worried you have designs on me."

The man laughed. "Your brother should trust me. Why would I ever have designs on you?"

After hearing this, the young woman stomped right on his foot. "What? Are you saying I’m not good enough for you?"

With that, she stormed off toward the cabin.

The man immediately chased after her. "Qianning, let me explain! How could I not be into you? I’d have to be blind not to be!"

"Then go blind yourself and stop being into me!" Qianning shot back without turning around.

Then they disappeared into the cabin.

"Let’s follow them and see what happens," Jiang Zuo said.

’The vision hasn’t faded yet, which means there’s more to see inside.’

Jiang Zuo pulled Su Qi toward the cabin door.

Su Qi sighed. "That man is as dense as you sometimes. No, wait, I think you’re much denser than he is."

"So how on earth did you manage to win me over?"

Jiang Zuo retorted, unconvinced. "Leave me out of it. Let’s talk about that man. How is he the dense one? It’s clearly the girl who has a terrible temper."

"Come to think of it, you were much more good-natured back then. Aside from your tendency to hit people, you never really had such an explosive temper."

Su Qi rolled her eyes at him. ’Does he even know how to give a compliment?’

Just then, Jiang Zuo suddenly asked, "Have you ever regretted it? Marrying me, or even just getting together with me?"

Su Qi countered, "Have you? I wasn’t that great, really. I made you angry for so long after we got married."

"I’m grateful," Jiang Zuo said earnestly.

"Grateful?"

"Grateful that the heavens gave me a second chance."

Yes, Jiang Zuo felt incredibly fortunate that he had been able to return. This was a completely different life from his previous one.

He was even more grateful that he had returned with the memories of his past life. This time, he wouldn’t make the same foolish mistakes again.

Su Qi didn’t understand what he meant, but his words were sweet nonetheless.

She moved closer to him. "Being with you, the word ’regret’ has never once crossed my mind. I don’t even know what it means."

"Your wife is pretty amazing, isn’t she?"

"No, a blockhead," a voice cut in. It was Qianning’s. "My older brother is a total blockhead. So many Fairies are in love with him, but he couldn’t care less about any of them."

"Anyone who didn’t know better would think he was into men."

After saying this, Qianning looked at the man beside her. "You stay far away from my brother."

The man’s expression darkened. ’Is it other people who think her brother is into men, or is it *her*?’

"It’s not what you think," the man said helplessly.

Qianning turned her head away. "Exactly! If he’d just found me a sister-in-law sooner, she’d probably be desperate for me to get married, just so I’d stop causing a ruckus at home all day."

’So you *do* know you’re a handful?’

The man could only try to explain. "It’s not that your brother doesn’t want to—er, alright, maybe he really doesn’t want to. But the truth is, none of those women are worthy of him..."

Qianning did not like the sound of that at all. "When it comes to love, does being ’worthy’ or not even matter?"

"Even if other people think that way, as long as my brother loves someone, who in this world could possibly stop him?"

"Besides, by your logic, if my Cultivation were lower, or if I didn’t have such a powerful brother, would that mean I’m not worthy of you?"

The man rushed to explain, "You can’t say that! When I fell for you, you were still an ordinary person. If it weren’t for your powerful brother, I would’ve married you and taken you home long ago."

"So for me, there are no strings attached."

Qianning retorted, "Then why did you say those Fairies aren’t worthy of my brother?"
