Chapter 119: Final [3]
Staring ahead of him, Denzel saw nothing but an endless expanse of pitch-black darkness.
The darkness stretched on for what felt like several long minutes.
Then...
Little by little...
His senses slowly began to return.
The first thing he noticed was the faint whooshing of the wind.
The sound was soft and distant.
His ears still rang with a sharp, high-pitched tone, making everything else difficult to hear.
Even so...
Amidst the sound of the wind, the same recurring words from his memories echoed through his mind.
"You haven’t touched a woman at all."
Those words continued to reverberate inside his head.

Somehow...
Denzel’s eyelids twitched.
They cracked open slightly...
Then shut again.
Opened...
Then closed once more.
Through his blurred vision, he could barely make out the figure of a woman dressed in a hood.
Around her, streams of wind drifted and swirled like restless spirits.
Denzel continued blinking weakly.
He still couldn’t clearly make out who she was.
Yet each time his eyes managed to open...
He caught another fleeting glimpse of her face.
A few strands of long silver hair escaped from beneath her hood, cascading gently along the side of her face.
She was beautiful.
Her silver eyes matched the color of her hair perfectly.
The wind continued to flow gracefully around her.
At that moment, she slowly lowered her gaze toward Denzel.
"You’re awake."
Before Denzel could respond...
His eyelids suddenly felt heavier.
He fought to keep them open.
Slowly...
They began to close.
Then closed even further.
Until, finally...
They shut completely.
Once again...
Everything returned to pitch-black darkness.
A loud gasp suddenly burst from Denzel’s throat.

His body instinctively tried to jolt upright as he desperately sucked in a breath of air.
The very instant he moved...
A violent surge of pain tore through his entire body.
He immediately collapsed back onto the makeshift bed beneath him.
Several layers of clothing had been spread across the floor to serve as bedding, while a pillow supported his head.
As he struggled to sit up again, a violent fit of coughing overtook him.
"Calm down. Calm down."
The familiar voice reached his ears.
Hearing it, Denzel finally managed to force his eyes open.
Above him was the familiar ceiling.
As his gaze slowly drifted to the side...and there he met the familiar face of Antonia.
Antonia was kneeling beside him.
An enormous mass of water floated around Denzel’s battered body.
There was enough of it to fill an entire bucket.
With slow, practiced movements of her hands, she guided the water in smooth currents around his body. Healing mana continuously flowed through the water, circulating around every wound before gradually seeping into his flesh, knitting together what it could while easing the damage little by little.
Heavy bags rested beneath her eyes.
She looked utterly exhausted.
Even so, her hands never stopped moving, maintaining complete control over the healing water as it continued to flow around him.
Denzel coughed.
A small trickle of blood escaped from the corner of his mouth before slowly running down his chin.
He wiped it away, then slowly turned his head from side to side, trying to understand where he was.
Then...
Just a few inches from his head, he noticed several bottles of ointment.
They were the exact same bottles commonly found inside the massage rooms of the massage parlor.
"The massage parlor..."
"Yeah, genius."
Denzel shifted his gaze back toward Antonia.
"How did I get here? And how long have I been out?"
"One question at a time."
Another soft cough escaped Denzel’s lips.
He cleared his throat before asking again.
"How long have I been out?"
"Honestly, I don’t know. But from the moment I picked you up, you’ve been unconscious for about fifteen hours... give or take."

She let out a weary sigh.
"Fifteen hours, huh..."
He instinctively tried to shift his body.
The instant he moved, another sharp wave of pain shot through him.
"Sorry... but this is going to hurt. It might hurt a lot. You really did a number on your bones. Honestly, they’re almost completely shattered. It’s a miracle you’re even alive."
"You’ve been healing me this whole time?"
"Of course I have. If not me, was I supposed to just let you die?"
Denzel remained silent, staring at her for a long moment before quietly lowering his gaze.
For the first time since arriving in this world...
He genuinely felt grateful toward her.
"Thank you."
"Don’t thank me, asshole... Thank whoever it was that brought you to my front door."
Denzel quietly lowered his gaze.
’Someone dropped me here... Was it her?’
A faint memory slowly surfaced in his mind.
He vaguely remembered the hooded girl carrying him.
The image was blurry.
Barely more than a fleeting glimpse.
’Oh well... I suppose that’s that. So... what do I do next?’
Letting out a quiet sigh, he relaxed back against the makeshift bed while Antonia continued tending to his injuries.
"I know you might not appreciate hearing this... but still... thank you, Antonia."
"Fine... You’re welcome. But please tell me that somehow, someway... you actually won."
"Considering the fact that I’m still alive right now... doesn’t that answer your question?"
She let out a quiet laugh.
"You have a funny way of describing victory."
Denzel couldn’t help but chuckle before immediately grunting from the pain.
"Ah... Don’t joke so openly."
"I’m sorry, but you kind of brought it on yourself."
She replied with a playful grin.
But right then...

A voice suddenly called out from behind them.
"Denzel!"
The voice instantly drew both of their attention.
Denzel turned toward the source of the voice.
Antonia did the same.
The moment Denzel saw who it was...
His eyes widened in surprise.
"Huh?"
Standing barely a meter away was none other than Aisha.
Her eyes were already brimming with tears.
"Master!"
She cried out at the top of her lungs before immediately dashing toward her fallen master, arms spread wide as though he was a long lost lover.
