Chapter 805: Chapter 795: The Baby Is Obedient and Innocent

Wrote a name on the paper, "Help me set up a meeting with her."

"Okay."

Quinn Villa.

Outside, it was already dark, Jared Quinn’s handsome back leaned against the sofa, cigarette butts in the ashtray were stamped out one after another, and the person he was waiting for never came back.

The butler saw everything clearly; the young couple were having a spat.

"Young master, should I call madam and ask when she’s coming back?"

The man sitting on the sofa remained silent, his large hand pinching his brow.

The butler called Melody Thorne, "Madam, when are you coming back?"

"I’ve been very busy lately and will be staying at the company."

The butler said, "...Young master, madam said she will be staying at the company."

Jared Quinn’s eyebrows twitched; he shouldn’t have used such a method to make her realize the danger of past events.

In his peripheral vision, a small figure with a backpack tried to escape, and Jared arose, hoisting him up, his dark eyes flashing with inscrutable light.

Melody Thorne received the butler’s second call and immediately had Nina King drive her back to the Quinn Family.

"Did Timmy have a fever?"

"Yes, young master didn’t feel well all day today, and when I took his temperature just now, it wasn’t too serious. It’s mostly subsided, but I’m afraid he might have a fever again tonight, so I called you," the butler solemnly fabricated.

Melody Thorne hurried through the hall and upstairs, directly to Timmy’s bedroom.

Timmy lay weakly on the bed, his voice frail, "Melody~"

"Still feeling feverish?" Melody Thorne immediately touched Timmy’s forehead, relieved that there were no signs of fever.

"I feel so uncomfortable," Timmy reached out for a hug.

Melody Thorne leaned down and hugged him, "Where do you feel uncomfortable? Should I have your Uncle Leon Rivers come over and take a look?"

"No need... no need," Timmy replied sheepishly, "I want you to stay here and keep me company."

The tone of his voice was soft and endearing.

"Okay."

The man standing at the doorway wore a darkened expression, casting a warning look at the cheeky little boy inside.

Timmy stuck out his tongue at him, daring him to hit him, knowing Melody would never speak to him again!

"Feeling bad, huh?" Provoked, Jared Quinn walked in, looking down at the sly little rascal on the bed.

"Yes, very bad, nearly dying," Timmy clung tightly to Melody Thorne.

He had faked the illness to get her back; she ought to be by his side, not his dad.

Jared Quinn took out his phone and dialed Leon Rivers, "Come over, Timmy’s sick."

"Uh-huh, yes, bring the injections, he’s feeling terrible."

Timmy gritted his teeth, "...Dad, you’re devious!"

Melody Thorne looked at the big and small figures in front, suddenly understanding.

"Timmy, did you trick me?" Melody stood up, arms crossed.

Timmy said, "... It was my dad’s lousy idea, not mine. I’ve always been good and innocent. How could I possibly think of faking sickness?"

The lie was exposed, and Melody Thorne earnestly nodded, patting Timmy’s little face, "Right, our Timmy is so innocent and wouldn’t think of such a thing."

"Right?" Timmy beamed.

Jared Quinn, "!!!"

"Come out, I need to talk to you," Jared Quinn wrapped his arms around Melody Thorne and walked out.

"Cunning," Timmy snorted, covering himself with the blanket.

"What do you want to say?" Melody Thorne tilted her head, "No need to coax me, anyway, your sickness is cured, and it won’t flare up again."
