Chapter 802: Chapter 792: Gunshots

His actions were completely different from those of Jared Quinn before he fell ill; his sinister gaze turned to Melody Thorne behind him, and he pulled her over while undoing her clothes.

"I’m going to take a shower," Melody Thorne pushed the man in front of her away, took her pajamas, and entered the bathroom.

She wondered if Jared Quinn would be jealous and angry when he woke up and found out she had slept with him while he was not conscious.

Half an hour later, Melody Thorne could not resist the urge to sleep and dozed off in the bathtub without water.

The bathroom door was opened from the outside, and Melody Thorne suddenly woke up to meet Jared Quinn’s dark eyes.

Strong, slender arms lifted her up and carried her to the big bed outside, his thumb rubbing her lips, "You really are quite rebellious, aren’t you?"

His gaze moved downward, landing on Melody Thorne through her pajamas, and his large hand tore them apart.

"Jared Quinn," Melody Thorne lifted her head, her eyes shimmering with tear-like pearls, as if she would cry if his fingers moved recklessly again.

Jared Quinn irritably lay down beside her.

Until the sound of the man’s breathing was heard, Melody Thorne quietly injected the medicine Elias Hale gave her into Jared Quinn’s neck, and got up to open the bedroom door.

Elias Hale was waiting outside, "Is it done?"

"Yes," Melody Thorne nodded, "Where are you taking him? Can I go with you?"

"Since you trusted me from the beginning, you should trust me to the end," Elias Hale walked into the bedroom, "I promise to safely return him to you within three days."

...

Three days later, both the old man and Leon Rivers were waiting in the villa, but there was no news from Elias Hale.

"Could something unexpected have happened?" Melody Thorne asked worriedly, "I fear those who wanted to kill Elias Hale may find him."

"Don’t worry, I’m tracking Jared’s location," Harold Chapman spoke, and soon the instrument in front of the computer showed Jared Quinn’s current location, not far from the Quinn Family.

"I’ll take some people to check it out," Harold Chapman stood up.

"I’ll go with you," said Titus Quinn’s rescued father, "A large part of the reason he turned out this way is because of me, because of the Quinn Family’s training methods for successors."

"Dad, I’ll go with you," Titus Quinn said.

"Alright, alright,"

"I’ll go too," Melody Thorne said, worried, especially about Titus Quinn.

"Alright, all of you go, all of you go, I’ll wait for you at home," the old man said, sitting steadily on the sofa, "I believe my grandson won’t be easily defeated."

Harold Chapman’s car stopped, and Melody Thorne realized the address was near the half-burned villa.

"Bang, bang!" Huge gunshots erupted from inside.

"Jared Quinn," Melody Thorne got out of the car and ran towards the abandoned villa, searching for the familiar figure inside.

There were many of the old man’s men nearby, surrounding the entire abandoned villa, gunshots resounding endlessly, Elias Hale and Jared Quinn must be inside.

"Madam," Harold Chapman and others immediately followed her, protecting her all around.

Having been here before, Melody Thorne easily found Jared Quinn’s location; he and Elias Hale were already surrounded.

"Hand over the item," a man pointed a gun at Elias Hale.

"The item you’re referring to has always belonged to the Hale Family; it’s normal for it to be returned to us after your family stole it when we weren’t looking!" Elias Hale said, his eyes grim.
