Chapter 678: Chapter 678: Evil Words
Her hand couldn’t help but want to push him away. The sunlight was just right outside, and the room was brightly lit. Before, they would be on the bed or turn off the lights.
Here... it was an open exposure.
Jared Quinn kissed her lower abdomen, his hand resting between her legs, his husky voice carried a trace of desire, "Do you think I’ve touched that Wendy Lynch? Do you think I’m no longer yours?"
Melody Thorne’s gaze fell on the mirror. The woman in there had enchanting eyes like silk, her skin was snow-white, red spots scattered, and further down...
She felt very ashamed.
"No, I don’t think that. You’re mine, you’re Melody Thorne’s."
She gasped, trying to wave away Jared Quinn’s big hand, but a tingling sensation spread from below, from the tip of her head directly to her brain, and her body couldn’t help but tremble violently.
"Jared Quinn, we have a child," she quietly reminded, biting down her teeth, but her body’s response was very honest, continuously giving herself to him.
Who knows how long it took...
A flash of white light crossed her mind, her eyes were dazed. Jared Quinn’s hand withdrew, getting up to kiss her corner of the lips again.
"Don’t you want it?" Melody Thorne’s face looked like it was on fire, thoroughly red.
"You have a child," Jared Quinn returned her words to him.
With actual actions telling her, no matter how tempting the beauty in front of him, even if it’s her, he would always restrain himself.
Veins popped at his temples and sweat of endurance, heavy breathing, but he was reluctant to touch her even the slightest.
"I told you, I trust you." Melody Thorne’s small teeth bit his shoulder, her small mouth kissed his Adam’s apple. She knew he was a normal man, that he had needs too.
"Melody Thorne!" Jared Quinn’s voice was so husky it was unrecognizable.
"What’s wrong?" Melody Thorne pushed him onto the bed, pressed against his waist, "You can do this to me, and I’m not allowed to do that to you?"
She moved on her own, gasping...
...
Wendy Lynch walked out of the café, her mind full of the scenes where Melody Thorne and Yulia O’Connell humiliated her. They threw money in her face, verbally abused her. Clearly, she was the victim, but in the end, those reporters looked at her with utter disdain!
There was a first time for this; can’t there be a second time?
She gripped her phone tightly and dialed a number. A man answered the call, "Miss Lynch, why? Are you satisfied with the drug’s effects?"
The person’s lips curled into a smile.
"Satisfied? What are you making me satisfied with?" Wendy Lynch’s expression was agitated. "I wanted Jared Quinn to touch me, but what happened? The drug you gave me only lasted until he dragged me into the room, then he passed out, there was no way for him to go wild on me!"
The person on the other side was not surprised by this result, but instead spoke teasingly, "He couldn’t move, Miss Lynch could have done it herself."
"How could I do it myself?" Wendy Lynch gripped her palms tightly, wishing she could strangle the person on the other end of the phone.
"If you didn’t do it yourself, how could the membrane break, and so severely torn at that? Miss Lynch, you’re quite something." The person on the other end laughed carelessly, the wicked words cornered Wendy Lynch with nowhere to hide!
"You knew this would be the result from the start?" Wendy Lynch asked through gritted teeth, her face contorted.
"I gave you the drug, so naturally I would predict the consequences." The person played with the lighter in his hand, "Otherwise, with Miss Lynch’s personality, how could you come back to find me if things succeeded?"
