One of the men said quickly. Soon, Su Xuan was given plenty of water. After a while, he coughed and feigned waking up slowly. When he opened his eyes, he looked at them with confusion.
"Who are you guys, and where am I?"
"Young kid, we are God; we saved you!"
Joseph said proudly, while Su Xuan rolled his eyes furiously, thinking damn, how conceited! You call yourself God, yet I could smack you silly without really knowing what you’d look like.
"Thank you, heroes, for saving my life. Your kindness will never be forgotten."
"Haha, young man, we want to ask you what you’re doing in this desert!"
Joseph looked at Su Xuan, curiously asking. Seeing Su Xuan in the desert did raise suspicions; what was he doing here alone?
"I was captured, just because I’m too handsome. The owner of the Dragon Gate Inn took a fancy to me and wanted me as their Wife!"
Su Xuan said seriously.

Joseph’s group was instantly speechless, thinking damn, this guy really can brag. Is boasting about his looks any use?
