Chapter 1647: Chapter 1733: The Wolf Pack’s Siege

"Di Lingtian, you really surprised me. I thought you weren’t much, but you were at least a task to handle. But I never expected you’d become a lapdog for the little devils. Do your parents know about this?"

"Shut your mouth, Su Xuan! If you’ve got the guts, come down here. I’ll challenge you again!"

As Su Xuan spoke, Di Lingtian’s old face blushed all the way to his neck. He didn’t expect Su Xuan to say such hurtful words. They were indeed quite damaging, and once Su Xuan said them, Di Lingtian felt like he’d lost face for eighteen generations of his ancestors.

"Di Lingtian, don’t bother with such a coward. He won’t dare come down. You Huaxia people are just a bunch of big talkers!"

After he finished speaking, Su Xuan smiled and said,

"Heh heh, Little Pheasant, you actually got something right. I really do kill with my words."

Su Xuan said this and suddenly let out a howl. Following that, the wolves instantly seemed to form some kind of connection, quickly launching their attack from all directions.

"Damn it, wolves, retreat quickly!"

Di Lingtian’s face changed. He knew better than anyone that wolves were fierce creatures. Fighting them head to head was not worth it.

"Don’t be afraid, everyone listen to me. They’re just a few little wolves. Will our experts from Japan still fear these little wolves?" Because the stage was built quite high, the wolves didn’t seem to have found the path up the mountain yet.

"Damn it, ignore him, brothers, retreat quickly!"

Di Lingtian rolled his eyes furiously, thinking to himself, "Where did you get such confidence? Do you think these desert gray wolves are just like the easy targets we dealt with earlier? I’m not playing with you anymore."

After a whistle, Di Lingtian quickly took a few subordinates and clumsily escaped on camels.

"Coward, baka..."

Little Pheasant shouted loudly. He couldn’t believe Di Lingtian was so pathetic, scared of just a few little wolves. What a huge disgrace.

But now Di Lingtian couldn’t care less about this idiot. He knew better than anyone the danger of the desert wolves, especially with the stage’s bloody atmosphere so intense, he could imagine how fierce the battle would be.

So after stepping down from the stage, he quickly began to flee.

Several wolves chased after them, while others were captivated by the blood on the stage, circling it and howling.

Those who submitted changed their faces dramatically upon seeing the wolves. Now that the Dragon Gate Inn’s doors were shut, what were they to do?

"Little Pheasant, are you satisfied with the grand gift I prepared for you?"

Su Xuan smirked faintly, looking at Little Pheasant.

"Hmph... Su Xuan, do you think these little wolves scare us world-class ninjas? You’re too ignorant!"

"Is that so, Little Pheasant? I hope you keep that confidence later!"

Su Xuan smirked mischievously, eager to see what havoc the wolf pack would wreak when surrounding Little Pheasant.

"Awooooo..."

The wolves didn’t attack immediately; they were waiting, seemingly for someone to give the command.

Blade Emperor and Sword Saint had reached the wall, observing the situation below. A chill ran down Blade Emperor’s spine. He realized why Su Xuan demanded all doors and even windows be sealed shut. If they weren’t, and a wolf got in, they might end up dead.

"Did you attract these wolves?"

Blade Emperor asked in shock, finding it hard to believe how terrifying Su Xuan must be to draw so many wolves.

"Big Brother, you’re my idol!" Brother Meng and Wang Tieniu shivered as they watched the scene below, genuinely sweating for those people. A wolf’s body is extremely tough; unless you have equivalently sharp weapons or equal cultivation, killing a wolf is exceptionally difficult.

"Big Brother Su, you really know how to play!"

Luo Tianyi couldn’t help but twitch watching the scene. He had dealt with wolves before. Even with guns, they couldn’t fend them off; coupled with his family’s evasive footwork, they couldn’t escape. Without Su Xuan, he’d be wolf food by now.

"Are these wolves waiting for the Wolf King’s command?"

"No, there’s no Wolf King here. But they’ve chosen a leader during their exchange. As soon as that wolf on the hill reaches the top, they’ll attack instantly!"

As Su Xuan finished speaking, the wolf had already reached the summit, and suddenly howled long and loud. In the next moment, ten wolves pounced frantically. Only after contact did they realize the stark difference between street dogs and wolves.

"Ah..."

Instantly, three warriors were knocked to the ground, their throats bitten through. The pack’s speed was swift, and now, with ten wolves attacking at once, it was truly overwhelming.

"Bakayaro!"

Little Pheasant shouted, as a wolf bit into his arm, pain coursing through his entire body. But being an upper-level ninja, he was no pushover. A punch sent the wolf flying, but it felt like hitting stone. They say wolves have a copper head and iron bones with tofu waists, and the hardness of their skulls was evident. Little Pheasant’s punch left his arm aching.

Little Pheasant flipped, rolling off the Taishi Chair, grabbing it to fiercely sweep across, knocking an attacking wolf away.

"Not bad, Little Pheasant. Watch your back though!"

Su Xuan smirked, and Little Pheasant instinctively turned around, swinging his katana down.

"Ah..." A scream echoed. A ninja was instantly sliced in two by Little Pheasant.

"Damn it, you dared to set me up!"

In that instant, Little Pheasant felt sheer despair. He felt like an idiot, completely toyed with by this guy. Su Xuan mentioned wolves behind him, and he actually turned to look. It was utterly embarrassing!
