"Your life is your own, you don’t owe it to anyone! The only reason you made it back is because you were lucky! If your luck was bad, all the effort in the world to save you would’ve been useless!"
"Yes!" Night Fire nodded heavily.
At this moment, Ye Xin and Ye Liangcai also came out.
Yang Chen said to Night Fire, "Let’s go! Take us to see the results of your research!"
"This way!" After greeting Ye Xin and Ye Liangcai, Night Fire took the lead.

As they walked into the lab, Yang Cao immediately saw Yang Chen and said excitedly, "Boss!"

"Yang Cao! Dongzi!" Yang Chen greeted the two of them with a smile.

Yang Chen nodded, signaling for Yang Cao to show them.
Yang Cao walked over to an experimental pod and gestured. "This is the original body, stripped from a test subject—the parasite’s main body!"
Yang Chen saw a black mass squirming inside the pod, as if it were still alive.
"This parasite original body, which looks only about the size of a thumb, is made up of a hundred thousand tiny parasites. They have the ability to combine like this and evolve together!"
Yang Cao led them to the next experimental pod. "This is the egg form!"
The parasitic eggs were tiny, invisible to the naked eye, so Yang Chen and the others could only look at the magnified image displayed on the screen.
The parasitic eggs were pitch-black all over and seemed to be constantly wriggling, as if something inside might emerge at any time. But Yang Cao told them that as long as the conditions weren’t met, these eggs would never hatch. Next, Yang Cao showed Yang Chen and the others all the results of their current research.

Yang Chen nodded slightly.

For instance, there was that dinosaur movie that came out years ago, where they cut off the dinosaurs’ reproduction genes so they could only be bred artificially.
But after some time, the dinosaurs repaired their genes on their own and started reproducing by themselves!
Some things just can’t be controlled!
Yang Chen said in a low voice, "You must carry out rigorous testing, and don’t underestimate their intelligence! If you don’t have a full hundred percent certainty, do not use this technology!"
Yang Cao nodded earnestly. "Got it!"
Yang Chen turned to Ye Liangcai and said, "Uncle Ye! This is not a joke. If even one gets out, it’s the same in nature as ten thousand getting out! Yang Chen took the folder and began to read carefully.
The assault team totaled ten people. They had killed four, injured two, and four had escaped.
The two who were injured took poison and killed themselves on the spot, leaving no survivors at all.
The four who escaped took an experimental pod with them. Inside the pod was a parasite host that had already undergone radiation treatment, with its reproductive genes severed.
"A host with its reproductive genes severed?" Yang Chen’s eyes lit up as he looked at Yang Cao.
Yang Cao shrugged. "Funny thing is, they didn’t take anything else, they just happened to grab this host we’d just finished experimenting on."
After thinking for a moment, Yang Cao added, "Maybe because that pod was relatively small."
Yang Chen nodded slightly. "Even so, we absolutely cannot let them get away!"
"I agree!" Yang Cao gave two thumbs up. "I’d even suggest we capture them alive and bring them back. We’re just short on experimental material!"
Yang Chen glanced at Yang Cao and gave a small shake of his head. Even though he didn’t like people from Beihai Country, he still wasn’t willing to accept that kind of experimentation.
According to the intel Yang Cao had gathered, those people were currently hiding in the slums of Haishi, seemingly waiting for extraction.
The slums were crowded and chaotic, perfect for hiding.
But with the support of a huge staff, they had already locked onto the enemy’s location.
Right now, they didn’t dare act rashly, for fear that the enemy would, in desperation, release the test subject. Even though it no longer had the ability to reproduce, that didn’t mean it couldn’t parasitize. If the host was released, especially in such a densely packed slum, it would trigger a massive catastrophe!
