Kent slumped in his seat, rubbing his temples. What was supposed to be a peaceful journey was quickly turning into a chaotic battlefield between Louis vs Nima.

On one side, Nima was glaring daggers at Louis, arms crossed like a bodyguard protecting a national treasure—except the treasure was him. On the other, Louis sat with a knowing smirk, completely unfazed by Nima’s hostility. She was acting like Kent is her property.

Auri, the little traitor bird, was sipping on the mango juice he had accepted from Louis, blissfully unaware of the brewing war.

Kent sighed. "It hasn’t even been five minutes. How am I already exhausted?" ’Right now, What should I do? Should I move to a different seat?’

After a while, the train conductor came by to check tickets. Kent handed them over with a practiced, professional smile, hoping to keep the peace for at least a few minutes.

The conductor raised an eyebrow as he looked at their group. "Sir, you booked a cabin for four people. But I see only three."

Nima immediately snapped her head toward Kent. "What? You booked a whole cabin? I thought we were saving money!"

Kent coughed into his fist. "I didn’t book anything." You are the one who paid for the tickets. I was with you the entire time. Did you forget it?

Nima narrowed her eyes. " Then… How?" Why is this ticket checker uncle saying you book a cabin? Explain it to me.

Louis leaned forward, it was me who booked a cabin. I booked it for Kent and all of us. I thought we could have some rest inside the cabin.

Kent sighed, realizing there was no escape. "Louis had done something unexpected. Nima will be very angry."

Auri chirped. Not understanding anything. "Kent, this human saying you bought an entire cabin?" Do you want to make babies?

Kent groaned. "Hey Auri!! Watch your mouth. Who taught you this? You are becoming…" Before Kent could complete his sentence.

Nima buried her face in her hands. What babies? What are you talking about Auri? I will slap you in your butt if you say those nonsense things again. Do you want Thousands years of pain? (Kakashi’s technique from Naruto.)

Chip! ’No, I don’t. I am sorry.’

The conductor cleared his throat. "Since a cabin is booked on your name , I have to ask you all to move to the cabin."

Kent immediately shook his head. "Nope. We’re fine."

Before the conductor could say anything else, Louis smiled. "Actually, I’d love to do that. We shouldn’t waste money, it’s only fair."

Nima’s head snapped toward Louis. "EXCUSE ME?!"

Kent nearly choked. "Wait, wait, wait—hold on, who said you could—"

The conductor nodded. "That actually works out well. Let me just take you to your cabin sir."

And just like that, the damage was done. The conductor takes them to a VIP cabin. Kent says, Nima, let’s enjoy life. It’s not a big deal. It will be our first time inside a VIP cabin.

Nima clenched her fists. "This. Is. A. NIGHTMARE."

Auri took another sip of his juice, looking between them all. "This is the best drama I’ve ever watched."

The moment the conductor left the VIP cabin, Nima slammed her hands on the table between the seats. "Listen here, Princess—"

Louis sipped her tea gracefully. "Yes, little sister?"

Nima twitched. "I am not your little sister!"

Kent facepalmed. "Can we please not start another fight?" Please, let’s just enjoy this journey by train.

Louis smiled sweetly. "Oh, I wouldn’t dream of it."

Kent slumped back in his seat. He just wanted a peaceful trip, but it was clear that was impossible.

About an hour into the trip, a food cart arrived. The smell of freshly cooked meals filled the air.

Kent’s stomach growled. "Finally. Let’s eat."

He reached for his wallet, but before he could say anything, Louis stood up. "No need to pay." The VIP cabin provides free meals. It came with the cabin.

Nima shot up. "Oh no, you won’t! I’ll pay for my brother’s meal!" I will give you the money. Give your bank account number. I will also give you the money for this VIP cabin. Once I sell my spiritual vegetables and ginseng from Snack lands, I will pay your money.

Louis raised an eyebrow. "But I have enough money. I don’t need it."

Nima gritted her teeth. "It’s not about money! It’s about principle!"

Kent groaned. "Can’t we just eat without a competition?!" Kent murmurs in Nima’s ear. Nima, listen to me. This is very expensive. We don’t need to pay her. We will give her some spiritual vegetables. That will be the same as paying her.

Auri looked between them. "If you two fight, can I have both of your meals?"

The war had officially escalated. Nima didn’t agree with Kent’s offer but she didn’t protest either. As night fell, another problem arose.

Kent lay on the bed in the cabin, stretching. "Finally. Some rest." But then he noticed something.

Louis sat at the edge of the bed. His bed.

Kent’s eye twitched. "Uh… What are you doing?" Nima will kill me if she sees this.

Louis tilted her head. "We have a cabin with two beds, but there’s three of us. I assumed we’d share."

Kent nearly had a heart attack. "ARE YOU INSANE?!"

Meanwhile, Nima was coming out of the toilet. She heard what Louis said. Nima’s voice boomed from across the room. "OVER MY DEAD BODY!"

Auri, from his small nest in the corner, chirped. "I feel like I shouldn’t be here for this."

Kent immediately sat up. "I’ll sleep on the floor."

Louis pouted. "How ungentlemanly."

Nima smirked. "Good job Kent." Then she says, "Know your place, Princess."

Kent makes a bed on the floor for him. A few minutes later. Just as Kent thought things were finally calming down, he sensed something off.

A strange energy. He sat up, eyes narrowing. "Something’s not right."

Nima, half-asleep, grumbled. "Go back to bed."

But Kent stood up and quietly opened the cabin door.

In the dimly lit hallway, he spotted something. A shadow-like figure—cloaked, moving suspiciously toward the cargo hold.

Kent’s instincts screamed at him. This isn’t normal.

Louis suddenly appeared behind him, whispering, "Trouble?"

Kent nearly jumped. "WHY ARE YOU AWAKE?!"

Louis smirked. "I was curious."

Nima appeared next, rubbing her eyes. "What’s going on?"

Auri sleepily chirped. "Is it time for snacks?"

Kent sighed. "Stay here. I’ll check it out."

"Of course, that meant everyone immediately followed him."

As they were approaching the cargo hold, Kent’s heart pounded. This was supposed to be a simple trip. So why did it feel like something big was about to happen?

Kent moved silently through the dimly lit train corridor, his footsteps barely making a sound against the wooden floor. Behind him, Nima, Louis, and Auri followed, their expressions ranging from curiosity to excitement.

"This better not be another one of your dumb hunches," Nima whispered, rubbing her sleepy eyes. You disturbed my precious sleep.

Kent shook his head. "I know what I felt. There’s something off."

Louis smirked. "Ooo, are we solving a mystery? How thrilling." This is my first time solving a mystery. Train rides are so much fun.

Auri flapped his wings, perching on Kent’s shoulder. "If it’s a ghost, I’m leaving." Nima is the ghost expert.

They reached the door leading to the cargo hold. A small window allowed them to peek inside. The storage area was packed with crates, bags, and travel trunks. But there—toward the back—was a figure, draped in a tattered cloak, rummaging through the cargo.

Kent narrowed his eyes. "Found you."

The figure suddenly stopped. Slowly, the hooded head turned toward the window.

Kent’s breath hitched. He knows we’re here.

And then— The hooded figure vanished.

Not run. Not walking. Vanished. It just vanished like it wasn’t there. They all just imagine it.

"Okay, yeah, that’s creepy," Auri muttered. It’s definitely a ghost. Nima, go beat that ghost. You are the Ghostbuster among us.

Nima grabbed Kent’s hands. "We’re not going in there, right?"

Kent smirked. "Of course, we are."

Before she could argue, he slid the full door open and stepped inside.

The moment Kent entered, the temperature seemed to drop. A strange energy lingered in the air.

Louis hummed. "Spooky. I like it." It’s so exciting. I can’t wait to find out the truth.

Nima says. "I don’t." Let’s leave.

Kent motioned for them to stay quiet as he moved forward. He focused his senses, searching for any sign of movement.

Then—a shadow flickered.

"Left!" Kent shouted, dashing forward.

Nima and Louis followed as Auri soared overhead.

The cloaked figure reappeared near the farthest crate, reaching into a box. Kent barely caught a glimpse of something metallic before it bolted toward the exit.

"Oh no, you don’t!"

Kent launched forward, his speed boosted by his flashing steps. He closed the gap, reaching out—’ But the figure phased through the door.

Kent skidded to a stop. "...What?"

Nima blinked. "Did it just—"

Louis smirked. "Oh, now I’m really interested."

Auri huffed. "We’re dealing with a ghost, I AM 💯% SURE."

Kent clenched his fists. "No. MAYBE Something else."

Without hesitating, he pushed the door open and stepped into the next train cart.
