System Notification: The system is back online.

Kent stopped mid-step, his breath hitching. That voice—after all this time, the system had finally returned? His heart pounded as another notification appeared before his eyes.

System Notification: Critical Information Detected. Host, there is something important you must know.

A holographic screen expanded in front of Kent eyes, glowing with lines of unfamiliar code. He furrowed his brows, stepping away from the main street into a quieter alley.

He exhaled slowly. "Alright, tell me."

System Message: "One part of the system is missing. The host currently possesses only three fragments out of four."

"The missing fragment holds the system’s main memory—the reason for its creation."

Kent’s eyes widened, his mind racing. "The system was… created for something? Then why did it attach to me?" Why was I chosen as the system host? What is the real purpose of creating a system? Who is so powerful enough to create a system like this?

System Message:

"The lost fragment is not in this universe. Its exact location is unknown."

"Host must grow stronger to locate and retrieve the missing piece."

"Due to the missing fragment, the system was in recovery mode, which is why your skills were previously inaccessible." System needed more power to come back online.

"Now that enough energy has been gathered, the system has restored most of its functions."

Kent clenched his fists. So that’s why my abilities weren’t working before—the system was trying to come back online. Because a fragment is missing, it stops my skill functioning.

A surge of frustration and curiosity filled him. What was this system? Why him? And what would happen if he found that missing fragment?

Ding!

System Update: Congratulations, Host!

-You have successfully refined the Ruin Core without system help. And created A Barren Land within the Void Domain.

- The System Store has been updated. Because of the void domain.

- The Void Domain tools are now accessible in the system store.

Kent stared at the notifications, his mind still catching up. "Void Domain tools? Store update? Wait, wait—one thing at a time!"

Ding!

New Feature Unlocked: The Host can now purchase many items for the Void Domain.

Kent took a deep breath. "A missing fragment… a secret purpose… and now a Void Domain tools? This system is a lot more complicated than I thought."

But one thing was clear—he needed to get stronger. Fast. Kent shook off his thoughts. First, he had a more immediate task. There’s not much time left. He needs to find Auri.

"I’ll go look for him. I have to finish my work," Kent said, waving off the floating notifications. He turned down a side street, scanning for any sign of Auri.

Ding!

System Notification: Host tracking functions are now available.

Kent smirked. "Now that’s more like it."

He closed his eyes, activating the system’s scan. A glowing holographic map appeared before him, marking a blinking icon just a few streets away.

Without wasting a second, he sprinted toward the location. As Kent turned a corner, he slowed down. A strange noise filled the air.

Caw! Caw!

A flock of crows circled above a narrow alleyway, their black feathers casting eerie shadows on the ground.

Kent frowned. "Why are so many birds in one place?"

He moved closer, peeking into the alley—and there, in the middle, stood Auri.

The bird was on the ground, wings stretched toward the sky, laughing as the crows swooped around him.

But these birds weren’t just flying randomly.

They were listening to him.

Every time Auri moved his hands, the crows mirrored his motion, gliding in perfect sync.

It was almost like… a dance.

Kent’s instincts screamed at him.

"This isn’t normal."

He stepped forward, calling out, "Auri!"

Auri turned, his bright eyes filled with excitement.

"CHIRP! Kent! Look! The crows like me! I am the new boss of this area"

One of the crows perched near Auri’s right side, tilting its head. Another landed on the left side, completely unafraid.

Kent approached cautiously. "How are you doing that?"

Auri shrugged. "I dunno. They just came to me!" I help them, the next thing I know is that they make me their leader.

Kent narrowed his eyes. "That’s not how birds work."

Auri wasn’t the same species of the crows. More importantly—the crows weren’t bothered by that. It was as if they were drawn to his presence.

Kent sighed, pating Auri’s head. "Come on, let’s get you home before you start summoning an entire army of birds."

Auri chipped, flying ahead happily.

Kent followed, his mind deep in thought.

As they walked, Kent’s system chimed again.

Ding!

System Notification: Host has cleared the Ruin. Calculating Rewards…

Kent halted mid-step. Finally you remember about the mission. Now give me something good. Something useful.

System Reward:

"Congratulations, Host! You have received a Blueprint: Lesser Sun Creation."

Kent’s eyes widened. "A sun?!" This… is this really something what I am thinking?

He quickly opened the blueprint details.

Blueprint: Lesser Sun Creation

-Effect: Allows the Host to create a small sun using spiritual fire.

-Requires Two Types of Fire.

-The sun will provide heat and light to the Void Domain.

-Once completed, the Void Domain can sustain life and evolve into a livable world.

Kent ran a hand through his hair. My guess is right. The system gave me a way to create a sun with my SSS rank Architect Skill. But, "I do have two types of fire… I only have Hellfire. I need a second type."

His Hellfire was not normal.

It burned without fuel, devoured energy from the enemy in an instant, and consumed souls. It was eternal and destructive.

But for creation? Hellfire alone wasn’t enough.

Ding!

System Message:

"Host, once the Lesser Sun is created, the Void Domain will transform into a sustainable world. You will gain the ability to store and nurture living beings inside it." You need a water source too.

"Currently, the Void Domain is barren. Without the sun, and water, no life can exist there."

Kent let out a slow breath.

"A world of my own… A place where life can grow. A place under my control."

But before that—he needed that second fire.

He clenched his fists. "Where do I even start?"

The system didn’t answer his question. But Kent knew one thing. He wasn’t going to stop until he found it.

Kent looked up at the sky. Auri was still playing and flying ahead, laughing as the crows followed him.

A small smile tugged at Kent’s lips.

"First, I’ll figure out what’s wrong with Azure bay… then, I’ll find my second fire."

His journey was far from over. And for the first time—he was excited for what came next. When he returns home with Auri. They find out Nima is ready for the vacation. Everything is packed. She was waiting for them sitting on the sofa watching TV.

Ohh! You guys are back. I am ready. When do we leave, big brother? Auri I packed some juice for you. You should be grateful. Stop playing with the crows all the time. You need to train and become stronger.

Auri flies on Nima’s shoulder. Chirping happily. Kent says, I will go take a shower. After that we will leave. Nima, you can inform grandpa Xian Yu and aunty Zhou. They will drop us off at the rail station in their car.

Nima leaves the house, after taking a bath Kent is ready. Wearing all black clothes and jackets. He looked very stylish. Kent Krause himself in the mirror.

Then, he goes to pick up the luggage. All his looks and man pride shattered. He has to carry the Barbie suitcase. His face almost became red in anger and shyness.

Kent stepped out of the house carrying the Barbie suitcase. First he locks everything properly. Then He sees Nima and others waiting for him at the main gate. Kent slowly approaches them, hiding the suitcase behind him.

But the old man Xian Yu noticed the suitcase. He started at Kent for a few seconds. Then he says, Kent I didn’t know you like this type of thing. As your master I don’t care about what you like. Tell me the truth, are you LGB…

Kent’s face became red like a cherry or tomato. Before the old man could make more fun of him. He yelled, hey old man don’t joke with me. You know I am a man. I like girls. Nima bought it. She blackmails me to carry it.

The old man Xian Yu holds his laughter, he says rubbing his beard. I was serious. I need to know about my disciple’s preference. If you want I will find a good husband for you.

After saying that, Xian Yu couldn’t hold his laugh anymore. She burst out with loud laughter. Kid you made my day. I can’t describe how ridiculous you look with black clothes carrying a pink Barbie suitcase.

Aunty Zhou steps in. Honey, stop that. They will miss their train. Let’s go. They need to buy the tickets too.

Meanwhile, Nima knows something like this will happen. She is already inside the car with Auri eating a packet of chips. Laughing on Kent.
