Chapter 433: Hello, and Goodbye.

As planned, the Madam’s faction split into five teams: Red and Vodka, Rum and Gin, Khan and Warriyo, Nelek and Rus, and finally, Tank and Ashley.

Each team had a different destination, though their targets were close enough to support one another if necessary.

An hour later, they moved out, united by a single objective—to cripple the operations that made Di Carpio’s large-scale distribution possible.

"Rum?"

Gin sat on a fallen tree deep within the woods, a compact laptop balanced on his lap. His fingers moved rapidly across the keyboard as he hacked into the surveillance cameras and security systems inside their target facility. An earpiece rested in one ear.

"Rum, can you hear me?" he asked, pressing a finger against the earpiece. "You remember the plan, right? Don’t engage unless necessary. Just create enough chaos to delay their operations. Rum, that’s what the madam said — delay their operation! Delay!"

But only silence answered him.

"Damn it!!" Gin hissed in distress. "I swear, Rum, if we get in trouble because of this, I’ll tell the madam to kick you out. Actually, no, I’ll tell Red about it!"

Still, no answer.

With a sigh, Gin returned to work, searching through the hacked camera feeds until he finally spotted Rum.

Rum was strolling down a hallway as casually as if he owned the place, flanked by several gang members escorting him deeper into the compound.

Ashley had only given them the objective. How they accomplished it was entirely up to them.

Gin and Rum had decided Rum would infiltrate the facility while Gin provided remote support. Claiming he carried a message for the boss, Rum had been escorted inside without much resistance.

Meanwhile, Rum walked with an easy smile, his steps calm and unhurried as the men led him toward a room.

"Gin," he whispered.

His earpiece wasn’t even in his ear, but after countless missions together, he knew exactly how Gin thought.

A grin spread across his face.

"Don’t worry," he murmured. "We’ll get the job done."

"What are you mumbling about?" One of the escorts glanced back. "Talking to someone?’

Rum flashed an innocent smile, hands raised.

"Nothing. Just a little nervous," he cocked his head. "You did a security check on me earlier, right?"

The man narrowed his eyes.

"You’d better not try anything stupid. We only let you in because you said you came from Dominion’s Madam faction."

"Of course," Rum replied with a nod.

Ashley had specifically instructed them not to leave any connection to Dominion.

Rum ignored that part.

After all, it would only become a problem if anyone survived long enough to expose it. And he had no plans of the sort.

Moments later, they stopped outside a room.

One of the guards knocked.

"Boss, we brought him."

Rum waited until a muffled voice answered from inside.

"Let him in."

The guard turned his back on the door and faced Rum.

"Go ahead."

"Thank you."

Still smiling, Rum walked forward casually.

They had confiscated his weapons as a precaution.

What they hadn’t considered was that they should have kept a tighter grip on their own.

In a single motion, as he was walking past them, Rum spun around and snatched the pistol from the nearest guard’s holster.

BANG!

The first bullet tore through the man’s jaw. Before the second guard could react—

BANG!

Another shot rang out.

Everything happened in less than three seconds.

THUD!

THUD!

Rum let out a low whistle as both bodies collapsed onto the floor.

"Phew."

Blood splattered across the walls and pooled beneath the corpses.

Without another glance, Rum stepped into the room.

Inside, the boss froze. His eyes widened at the sight of the blood-soaked man entering so casually.

Instinctively, he reached for his weapon. But before he could touch it, Rum smiled.

"Hello." He raised the pistol. "And goodbye."

BANG!

Meanwhile, Nelek and Rus observed a secluded compound from a distant hillside.

The massive complex was already engulfed in flames.

Thick black smoke billowed into the sky, while the fire cast an eerie orange glow across the surrounding area.

"Is this enough?" Rus muttered as frightened workers and gang members poured out of the burning building.

One eye remained closed while the other stayed fixed behind the scope of his sniper rifle.

"She only told us to create enough chaos to delay their operation and disrupt the Di Carpios."

"That’s what she said," Nelek replied while scanning the fleeing crowd through his own scope, "but that’s not what she’s going to do."

He snorted.

"Do you honestly think those idiots will stick to the plan without spilling blood?"

Rus fell silent.

Unlike Khan, the trio, Warriyo, Nelek, and Rus, had spent the most time working alongside the group. Ashley often kept Khan close while entrusting Lucian’s security to the rest. After all, she had been acting as Lucian’s proxy at Black Dragon Corporation while he recovered.

"They’ve already started," Nelek said. "We might as well keep up. Stay focused, Rus. This is our first mission as part of the Madam’s faction."

"...Right." Rus nodded.

Besides, Nelek wasn’t wrong.

The others weren’t the only ones. Ashley herself would probably ignore her own orders.

Refocusing through his scope, Rus quietly spoke.

"I found him."

The two snipers fell silent.

Thanks to Ashley’s intelligence, they knew exactly who to eliminate—not only the head operator, but also the people capable of replacing him.

Once their targets stepped into the open—

BANG!

BANG!

Their rifles thundered almost simultaneously.

The head operator collapsed instantly.

Several of his closest subordinates fell beside him.

The fleeing crowd came to an abrupt stop as bodies hit the ground one after another, blood rapidly spreading beneath them.

For a heartbeat, everyone stood frozen. Then someone screamed.

"We’re under attack!"

As the voice echoed, panic erupted. Armed men immediately drew their weapons and fired wildly into the surrounding darkness.

It accomplished nothing.

More of them dropped one after another as the unseen snipers systematically eliminated the organization’s key members while deliberately ignoring the terrified workers who had clearly been forced into the scam operation.
