"So heartless, you’ll be grateful to me one day. Get up!" Third Young Master Jun handed her a set of clothes, a clean, beautiful dress.
"I’ll dress myself." Ye Lu immediately seized the dress with caution.

"But you did help me dress that day."

She had no choice but to get in the car.

"Do you really think I want to have anything to do with you? Don’t flatter yourself. I only toyed with you because of Gu Yan’s arrogance. But after a while, even that becomes dull. Besides, your figure isn’t even that great."
Ye Lu’s face turned pale, she ground her teeth, "Very well! Please pretend you’ve never met me if we cross paths in the future."
"Don’t worry, I forget women very quickly, and you’re no exception."
They were almost at the Gu family villa. Ye Lu quickly asked him to stop; she didn’t want Gu Yan to see Third Young Master Jun dropping her off.
"About those files on my phone, you can’t tell him. Otherwise, I’ll send them over." Third Young Master Jun threatened coldly.
Ye Lu could only nod.
Then Third Young Master Jun drove off without giving her another glance.
Ye Lu watched as his car vanished from sight, releasing a breath of relief. From Third Young Master Jun’s words just then, he had decided to let her and Gu Yan go, to stop seeking revenge, right?
A joyful smile strewn across her face. Finally, the storm had passed.

Returning to the villa, the servants were surprised to see her, as she had been missing for days.
"Where’s Gu Yan, where is he?" Her tone was light.
"The young master has been frantically searching for you over these few days, he’s extremely worried. I’ll call him right away."
Ye Lu nodded. Gu Yan must have been worried sick over these past few days."
"I’m going to my room. Let him know to come find me once he’s back."
