She had just walked to the edge of the bed when she heard footsteps behind her. Just as she was feeling puzzled, Gu Yan embraced her from behind. She was momentarily taken aback, and the next second, he turned her around.
Before she had a clear look at his face, kisses came pouring down, accompanied by the sound of his angry, rapid breathing.
The force of his kiss was so intense that it felt as if he was crushing her mouth, causing her already injured lips to hurt even more. It felt as though the corner of her bitten lip was bleeding again from the pressure.
Confused and taken aback, Ye Lu instinctively pushed him away.
Sensing her resistance, Gu Yan grew angrier, his hold on her becoming tighter as he forcefully pulled her into his embrace, restraining her limbs.
Ye Lu could taste his rage between their lips. Her face turned pale, her heart was tight, and she was unable to struggle.
The next second, he laid her down on the bed.
His hand reached to undress her. His ferocious kisses were on her cheeks, her neck, like an angry beast.
Ye Lu stiffened involuntarily, her eyes welling up with tears of injustice.
Even though such situations were normal among couples, the timing was wrong and his aggressive attitude was more than she could bear.
"Let go of me, Gu Yan! What are you doing? Are you trying to force yourself on me?" Her voice trembled, and she felt deeply distressed.
If Third Young Master Jun acted in such a way, she wouldn’t care; she didn’t love him and she was aware of his brutal nature. He had no pity for her.
However, how could Gu Yan do such a thing? Even the man she loved the most was hurting her and disrespecting her to such an extent. It was heartbreaking.
At her sudden, forceful rejection, Gu Yan, who had been kissing her wildly, froze and abruptly stopped.
Ye Lu pushed him away fiercely, sat up shaking, her teary eyes painfully looking at him.
"Gu Yan, you clearly don’t trust me. If you did, you wouldn’t have asked me to shower, you wouldn’t have done this to me."
She thought that his earlier claim of trust was unconditional, yet he clearly hadn’t trusted her at all.
Gu Yan awkwardly sat up, his usually calm demeanor now filled with anger.
"How can I trust you when he just got in here and then you immediately followed him? Your body is covered in kiss marks, you’re limping while you walk - isn’t it obvious what you’ve done?"
Staring at him in disbelief, Ye Lu felt her heart aching as it trembled, "So, you’ve decided that I cheated on you with him?"
"Do you know what he said to me before he left?"
"..." Ye Lu looked at him blankly.
"He smirked and said the light orchid fragrance you were wearing tonight was very tempting, that it made him lose control."
Ye Lu grew pale, her body shaking. So Third Young Master Jun had said such suggestive words to Gu Yan, implying that something had happened between them?
How could he do such a thing to her?
"So, how can I trust you?" Gu Yan asked her angrily.
Ye Lu shivered, looking at his furious face, feeling more and more wronged. She hadn’t done anything, so why was she being interrogated like a criminal?
"I don’t know how I can make you trust me, but I haven’t done anything, I really haven’t. You were the one who said I didn’t need to explain, that you trusted me. But you don’t actually trust me, do you?"
Tears welled up in her eyes, as she yelled at him.
"I just went out for some fresh air, I didn’t think Third Young Master Jun would be in the garden. I saw him and I immediately wanted to return to the party."
"Then why didn’t you come back?"
