"Wow, how romantic. The woman of tonight is her. She’s so lucky!" Excited exclamations and cheers rang out from the crowd, followed by a thunderous applause.
The man then carried her onto the stage with confident strides.
Hearing the enthusiastic applause and cheers, Ye Lu was dumbfounded. What was going on? Oh, God, there was a big misunderstanding. How could she have been chosen?
And there were so many people watching. How was she going to handle this?

The man let out a soft chuckle, lifting his gaze in a certain direction.
Ye Lu couldn’t help but follow his gaze. There she saw the largest screen on the square, a massive display that had gone from darkness to a bright backdrop.
Every screen in the city, all rented by the Jun Family, displayed the same scene at the same time.
