"What do you feel like eating? I’ll make it for you," Ye Lu asked cheerfully. Since she couldn’t assist him directly, she could at least ensure that he ate well. A solid meal would give him more energy to put up a fight.
"I want some rice." He’d been eating porridge ever since he was admitted to the hospital, but suddenly he craved some rice.
Ye Lu immediately went to the small kitchen to make some rice for him, focusing on dishes that would be easy to digest.
While she was cooking, her phone chimed with a text message. She looked at it and almost choked on her own saliva.
It was a message from Third Young Master Jun, demanding she come home and make dinner.

But at the meal, just as Gu Yan was looking at the food, he suddenly said, "Eat with me."
