"Are you going to imprison me forever?" Yiyi’s face was paper-white, a chill spreading through her chest, utterly shocked.
"If you change your mind, this won’t be a cage. But if you’re still thinking of running away, you’ll ’vacation’ until the wedding begins, and I’ll just escort you straight to the chapel to get married," Ji Lingkong teased.
Yiyi’s little face twisted with anger, and she cursed hatefully, "Madman, I don’t believe you can make me say ’I do’ in front of the priest! Humph."
She dragged her luggage aggressively, storming into the villa.
Ji Lingkong watched her back and shrugged helplessly. Now, whatever he said to explain, she wouldn’t believe it, as she already saw him as an enemy. Anything he said would sound ulterior to her, so why waste breath?

Because he had listened in on Yiyi’s call and heard her conversation with the man claiming to be Officer Russell, hearing that it was supposedly him who ’killed’ Ares’ parents.
He couldn’t help but laugh coldly. This was certainly an accurate frame-up, obviously aimed at him.
It seemed this Officer Russell was the real reason behind the sudden change in Yiyi’s attitude at the banquet, making her hate him so much. Russell must have manipulated things in front of her, throwing dirt on him, no wonder Yiyi hated him.
