The whole family joyfully entered the villa and went upstairs, taking advantage of the time before the banquet started to chat together.

"Who’s looking for you? They sound pretty urgent, go listen," Third Young Master said.
Yiyi unwillingly picked up the phone, walked out of the room, and answered it. On the other side, a completely unfamiliar voice came forth.
"Miss Jun, I’m Agent Russell from the North American Intelligence Bureau. There’s something important, and I’d like to meet with you for some inquiries."
An agent from the investigation bureau? Yiyi raised her eyebrows, sneering, "You’re an agent from the bureau, and I’m the Secretary-General of the UN! Stop harassing me or I’ll call the police."
These scammers are truly getting bolder, pretending to be national investigation agents, and daring to trick the Eldest Miss of the Jun Family.
She was about to hang up on this dull call.
But then the other party spoke coldly, "If you don’t believe me, I can present my credentials. I’m right outside your villa. If you think I’m a fraud, feel free to call the police."
Yiyi frowned, with that much confidence and able to show credentials, maybe it’s real?
What would someone like this want from her? She hasn’t done anything endangering national security.
"What do you want to ask?"
"We’ve recently received a confidential investigation case related to the deaths of your colleague Yares’ family. You’re a key part of the incident, and we hope you can cooperate with the investigation and answer some of our questions."

"I don’t understand what you mean, you think I killed Yares?"

Yiyi’s face turned very unpleasant, and she said seriously, "I was unconscious that night, and didn’t see anyone until waking up the next day. That’s as much detail as I can provide on this matter. Moreover, I don’t believe anyone I know would do anything so heinous, please don’t make baseless assumptions."
What a joke, if Third Young Master, mommy, and brother knew she was bullied and drugged by Yares, they’d be furious, but at most they’d deal with Yares, not stoop to harming his family.
After all, Yares deserved his fate, but his parents were completely innocent, and her family is not the kind to act unreasonably.
