Chapter 1640: Chapter 1641: Walking Out of Cell 584

An Ning stood up and headed towards the direction from which the wolf’s howl was coming.

From the time she was still in the dungeon, she had been trying to use her mind to contact Silver Wolf. However, communication between a person and a wolf is not very convenient, especially since they were not together at the moment, which made it even more difficult.

Nevertheless, An Ning knew that the wolf pack howling ahead was led by Silver Wolf.

Because she could now sense Silver Wolf to some extent, and she could feel it.

Sure enough, An Ning had not taken many steps when she saw a dozen wolves running towards her.

An Ning was not afraid; they did not attack her, and the leading Silver Wolf walked up to her elegantly, rubbing its large wolf head against her blood-splattered arm.

An Ning plopped down on the ground, her initial fear finally dissipating somewhat.

With Xiaoyin leading the wolf pack to protect her, at least she no longer had to worry about those who captured them catching up.

Ever since Xiaoyin could simply communicate with An Ning mentally, it suddenly became less arrogant.

Just like now, it rubbed its head against An Ning and then lay on the ground. Although it couldn’t speak, its intention was quite clear.

To think, Xiaoyin had always been mindful of its image, especially with other wolves around, and it agreed to let her ride on it!

But to leave here quickly, An Ning had no choice but to temporarily inconvenience Xiaoyin.

An Ning did not ride on Silver Wolf’s back, as there were no handholds, and she simply couldn’t get onto it.

She lay on its back.

As Silver Wolf began to run, An Ning felt her insides almost jostled out.

After finally escaping the forest, An Ning felt as if half her life was nearly gone.

On the outskirts of the forest, An Ning got off Silver Wolf’s back, glanced at the direction outside, and said, "Xiaoyin, I’m almost out, you should hurry back to the mountains, be careful not to be discovered by hunters."

"Woo..."

Silver Wolf let out a low hum and then looked at An Ning before turning to run into the deep mountains.

An Ning also smiled with relief, looking at the distant village, she sighed with satisfaction and then stepped forward.

An Ning did not rush to leave; instead, she found a hidden spot, entered a space, washed herself, checked on Yan’s family and An Yu, seeing that they were safely in the wooden house, and then felt at ease.

An Ning changed into clean clothes, rested until she looked composed, and then headed towards the nearby village.

Perhaps because she was unfamiliar, people kept looking at her all along the way.

An Ning found it perplexing but did not speak much.

Since she was unconscious when captured, she did not know where this place was, so she could only guess based on the time that she was still within Long’an County.

By her estimation, this village is not large, with many people carrying hoes to work in the fields.

An Ning approached a fenced courtyard, where a woman was washing clothes inside.

Spotting the woman, An Ning stepped forward politely and said, "Madam, I’ve gotten separated from my family while passing through here, could I ask for your help?"

Upon hearing An Ning’s voice, the woman put down the clothing she was hammering, stood up, and came to the gate of the fenced yard, looking at An Ning.

At first glance, the woman showed a shocked expression in her eyes.

This young girl, she doesn’t look very old, but she is quite pretty.
