Chapter 47: Mud Camouflage
The sharp tingling sensation at the base of Leon’s skull grew into a frantic throbbing alarm. His newly acquired Danger Intuition skill was actively screaming at him.
The heavy sound of mercenary horns echoing through the morning mist was not a simple warning. It was a highly coordinated hunting signal.
Leon swiftly turned away from the roasted boar and moved to the cave entrance.
He narrowed his dark eyes and utilized his perfect Night Vision to pierce the thick gray fog rolling through the Whisper Woods. He could barely make out the distant flickering of magical runic torches moving systematically through the dense tree line.
"The Eclipse Syndicate brought a full tracking squad," Leon stated in a low serious tone. He kept his back pressed against the jagged rock wall to remain hidden. "They are sweeping the grid. They have armored tracking hounds with them."
Lady Seraphina let out a frustrated sigh and attempted to stand up from the flat stone slab.
Her legs immediately betrayed her. She slumped back down with a pained grimace as her damaged magical pathways violently rejected the movement.
"I am currently useless," Seraphina admitted bitterly. Her violet eyes burned with a fierce mixture of wounded pride and fury. "My core is completely drained. I am a Tier Six Master and I cannot even summon enough aura to stand. That masked bastard was a Grandmaster."
Leon walked back over to her and crouched down. He had been growing steadily more confident in his massive physical stats but her words provided a sobering reality check.
"I’d estimate your abilities to be tier 1 master," Seraphina explained softly while clutching her ribs. Her breath plumed in the cold morning air. "It is an incredible anomaly for a servant. But raw strength will not save us from a coordinated Syndicate squad."
Leon nodded slowly. Seraphina confirmed he had reached Master rank, but he was still useless against a Grandmaster, and there were still three ranks higher than that.
He was a very small fish swimming in a terrifyingly deep ocean. He possessed no formal aura techniques and lacked the high tier martial arts required to fight seasoned killers.
He knew he had to grow stronger. He needed to unlock the higher tiers of the System Shop and amass a mountain of Shameless Points.
The masked Enforcer had casually swatted him away like an annoying insect. Leon mentally swore he would reach the eighth rank and personally crush that silver mask into fine powder.
But first he had to survive the morning.
"The tracking hounds will pick up our scent within the hour," Leon observed while glancing at the roasted meat. "The smell of the boar and the lingering scent of your blood will lead them right to this cave."
"Then you need to take Stormfang and run," Seraphina ordered firmly. She tilted her chin up projecting a flawless mask of aristocratic bravery. "I will not let someone die because of my foolish arrogance. The wolf can carry you to the border."
Leon completely ignored her highly dramatic command. He walked over to the deepest corner of the hidden cave where a small natural spring trickled down the rock wall. A thick pool of dark mossy mud had formed in the damp crevice.
The crystal bell chimed beautifully in his skull. The digital interface projected a glowing pink text box right above the pool of dark mud.
[Emergency Stealth Quest Issued: The Dirty Aristocrat]
[Context: The tracking hounds are closing in. The noble daughter smells like expensive lavender and fresh blood. A true degenerate knows how to mask a scent while simultaneously asserting physical dominance.]
[Objective: Gather the cold mud. Firmly apply it directly to Seraphina’s body, including her bare inner thighs and across her exposed chest to mask her scent. Tell her she looks beautiful even when dirty.]
[Reward: +10 Agility, 200 Shameless Points.]
[Failure Penalty: The tracking hounds will immediately pinpoint your location resulting in a brutal and overwhelming siege.]
Leon moved quick.
He scooped up a large handful of the thick dark mud. It was freezing cold and smelled heavily of damp earth and crushed pine needles. He walked back over to the stunned noblewoman and knelt directly between her parted knees.
"What are you doing Leon?" Seraphina demanded sharply. Her violet eyes widened as she stared at his muddy hands.
"Masking your scent Lady Seraphina," Leon replied smoothly.
He did not wait for her permission. He reached forward and pressed his large muddy hands directly onto her bare inner thighs right below the hem of her dark leather combat suit.
Seraphina let out a loud scandalous gasp. The freezing cold mud felt absolutely shocking against her warm pale skin. She instinctively tried to squeeze her knees together but his broad muscular shoulders firmly blocked her movement.
Leon utilized his passive Basic Caress skill as he spread the thick mud.
The magical dexterity completely bypassed the freezing temperature and sent a highly concentrated spark of electric pleasure shooting straight up her legs. The intense contrast between the freezing mud and the scorching pleasure left her completely paralyzed.
"You are stepping far over the line attendant," Seraphina hissed breathlessly.
A brilliant red flush completely conquered her cheeks. Her passive Lie Detector aura wildly flared with intense flustered heat and a deeply confusing submission.
Leon ignored her empty threats.
He moved his hands higher tracking the mud along the exposed skin of her toned midriff. He reached the generous swell of her heavy cleavage and firmly applied the dark earth directly over her chest.
He painted the thick mud over her pale skin ensuring the natural scent of the forest completely overpowered her expensive lavender perfume.
He leaned his face close to hers. He locked his magnetic dark eyes onto her dilated violet pupils.
"You look stunnning even when dirty, Seraphina," Leon whispered in a deep resonant voice that vibrated heavily against her chest.
Seraphina completely stopped breathing as she utterly failed to process the sheer astronomical audacity of his actions.
She was a master Aura Knight. She was the Silver Goddess. Yet she was currently sitting in a dark cave letting a common servant rub cold mud all over her most intimate curves.
[Quest Completed Successfully!]
[The tracking hounds will find nothing but the scent of the earth.]
[Distributing Rewards: +10 Agility, 200 Shameless Points.]
A sudden refreshing surge of weightless energy flooded his legs. His Agility stat climbed to a massive one hundred and thirty five points. He physically felt his reflexes sharpen to a terrifying razor edge.
Leon smoothly wiped the excess mud from his hands using a dry piece of cloth from his satchel. He stood up and grabbed a heavy ironwood branch he had collected for the fire.
"Stay here and keep absolutely quiet," Leon commanded while looking down at the highly flustered noblewoman. "I am going to thin their numbers and lead the rest of the squad away from the cave."
Seraphina could only offer a weak trembling nod. She wrapped her arms around her muddy chest and watched him seamlessly activate his Aura Step.
He blurred into motion and vanished out of the narrow rock fissure like a phantom leaving her alone in the dark to process the overwhelming magnetic gravity of his dominance.
