Chapter 852: Chapter 760: Medical Immortal’s Secret Transmission (15)

"Insufficient authority detected, unauthorized individual forcibly overriding permissions..."

Inside the cockpit, dense red warning windows flooded the darkness.

"Shut the hell up!" Ning Yi roared.

He laughed, a madman’s grin splitting his face.

"Salodes! You want hatred, right? I’ll give it to you—I’ll give you as much as you want!"

The red warning windows went out one by one, and soon the darkness sank into dead silence.

It opened its eyes.

It was a Demon’s smile.

It mocked, it scorned, it jeered in wild arrogance. In this instant, the boy’s hatred and fury reached their peak!

Gabriel dropped to its knees in agony. Under the absolute pressure, the entire lab began to collapse, walls torn apart, gales howling through, countless fragments blowing backward into the sky!

It went insane, twisted; more bone spurs grew along that long spine, forming a structure like an abdominal cavity. Innumerable chains surged out from that cavity, sweeping toward the whole world!

It ripped off its steel wings. Razor bones pierced through its back, and tattered wings, still glued with flesh and blood, spread open!

The look of mercy vanished, leaving only hatred. A coffin bristling with iron spikes swallowed its head, devouring the last trace of light it could see!

Gabriel let out a wail of grief.

Jian Liu, late to the scene, saw this. He stood there, apathetic eyes flashing with a hint of astonishment, then as if settling on some decision.

"Good, keep hating like that!"

Jian Liu drew the saber at his waist and slowly walked toward the rampaging Gabriel. With every step he took, the weight on his shoulders grew heavier.

By the time he reached Gabriel’s front, just lifting his foot to take one more step was unbearably difficult.

His eyes burned with fanaticism, as if he’d finally seen the thing he’d always chased.

"Hate. Only then will people truly remember their wounds."

"The one that’s wrong is this world itself. If people want to move forward, they have to keep falling and getting back up, covered in scars as they walk toward tomorrow!"

Clang!

A dangerous crimson light flashed.

Gabriel lowered its head and faced Jian Liu.

The young man spread his arms, expression strange and feverish.

Gabriel lazily swung a claw. Jian Liu was torn apart, blood mist blooming.

No one knew how long the chaos lasted. The fortress plummeted from the sky to the earth; the world became a Purgatory, the heavens turned into a sea of fire.

Gabriel dragged its chains as it walked across the ruins.

Endless hatred drove this monstrosity, and only death would bring its hatred to an end.

It found it.

The ticket to the place it longed for.

Its iron talons, caked with rust and blood, pinched one corner of the ticket—and the instant it did, the humming of a train rang out!

The scene shifted.

The twisted monster appeared in the center of the city. Between the forest of high-rises glided airships; around the city, heavy armored vehicles thundered along the tracks; Alchemy Puppets and massive facilities were everywhere.

Legion City—Dread Ankh.

A man leaning on a cane, wearing a punk monocle, stopped and stared blankly at the suddenly appearing figure, only to be erased into dust by a red beam in the next heartbeat.

Screams tore from the crowd.

Its arrival was about to bring annihilation to this place.

The Execution Maiden rose into the sky, simultaneously locking onto more than seventy million people in this city.

"As expected, he still chose this place."

A rift opened, and a red-haired girl stepped out of it. Chichu Chun had changed into a Gothic formal dress; the Undead Armament gripped in her hand, its tip unfolding and reshaping.

"It’s you."

Gabriel let out a hoarse growl. In the cockpit, Ning Yi recognized the girl before it.

"Do you know what hurts more than hatred?" Chichu Chun asked.

"Hatred with nowhere to go."

"Time to cage you again, beast."

In the split second before the Execution Maiden fired, a magnificent golden wall dropped from the sky!

All the runes blazed to life, stretching for thousands of li!

"’Builder’s Miracle’?"

Xu Xiaoyou had just stepped out of the rift when she saw this scene.

Chichu Chun nodded smugly. "Just a little collection, nothing worth marveling at."

"He’s already this far gone. That person has to show up now, right?"

They looked together toward Gabriel, raving at the center. Chichu Chun’s expression tightened a bit.

"Why..."

Gabriel howled in misery.

"Why are you stopping me..."

"Why?"

Fierce resentment erupted from Gabriel; even the air filled with writhing words.

"Don’t..."

"Don’t look at me with those eyes..."

"That’s mine..."

"Don’t take it away—my stuff!!"

In almost an instant, Gabriel appeared in front of Chichu Chun. It unleashed a fully charged blow, smashing straight into the girl’s chest!

Chichu Chun shot backward like a cannon shell.

Gabriel dropped to all fours, sprinting after the red-haired girl like a beast. Its figure blurred and reappeared above her, slamming down with all its might, pounding Chichu Chun deep into the ground.

"Why... why treat me like this?"

"What did I do wrong?"

"Why is it me who has to bear all this pain?"

"Why, of all people, is it me who has to endure the malice of the world!!"

Gabriel raised both hands high and slammed them down toward where the girl lay!

The ground exploded with a thunderous roar!

The entire square sank several meters, vast cracks spiderwebbing out!

As the dust cleared, Chichu Chun had actually caught Gabriel’s heavy fists, her face smeared with grime.

She sneered. "That all you got? My turn now..."

She didn’t even finish before another heavy fist crashed into her face. This punch shattered the ground beneath her as well; the blood-drenched monster and the girl plunged together into the underground tunnels.

Gabriel grabbed Chichu Chun by the head and smashed her into the tunnel wall, then started a wild sprint along the tunnel. Wherever it passed, walls collapsed in great slabs, rubble spraying; the tunnel caved in section by section!

Just as Gabriel was about to slam Chichu Chun’s head into the Builder’s Miracle, a golden figure appeared in time. A frontal knee strike smashed into Gabriel’s head, blasting it hundreds of meters away, punching it through wall after wall before it finally stopped.

"Damn, so you weren’t just going to stand there and watch."

Chichu Chun scrambled up in a sorry state, grumbling as she wiped the blood from the corner of her mouth.

"This guy’s nastier than I thought."

As she spoke, her gaze fell on the twin blades in Xu Xiaoyou’s hands, and she froze for a moment.

"Don’t zone out. We’re going in."

Xu Xiaoyou tossed out the reminder and charged forward, facing Gabriel head-on.

Icy-blue arcs of blade-light and vermilion slashes wove together into lethal circles. Twin blades and talons collided dozens of times in a heartbeat, both sides flung back, then crashed together again in a frenzied clash. Their speed pushed the limit; the shockwaves alone made the tunnel shudder nonstop, on the verge of collapsing.

"I don’t know if doing this will really drag that Medical Immortal out."

Chichu Chun bared her teeth in a grin.

"But fighting alongside you really is fun. It’s been a long time since a battle got me this hyped."

"Don’t you dare bore me next."
