Chapter 57: Selena’s Choice
"Does Your Majesty want to say that you can forgive me if I give myself to you?"
"I already suspected that you are an intelligent woman. You’re right. Are you willing to give yourself to me and become my woman? With that, you can maintain your position as the main wife among the other concubines."
Gritting her teeth, Selena’s face now showed doubt. There was nothing Selena could do to get William’s forgiveness. However, Selena’s identity as the princess of the Moonlight Kingdom was not a great title at all in William’s eyes.
A saintess who had previously visited the Lionheart Kingdom had completely attracted William’s attention. Selena had also predicted William’s actions after Saintess Aria visited the Lionheart Kingdom. Even if Selena wanted him to remember the promise he had previously given her, William would only act as if he had completely become a different man.

After walking out of Selena’s room, William’s expression revealed his dissatisfaction. Previously, William had thought that Selena wouldn’t refuse his offer and would make herself his woman. However, in the end, Selena was still a stubborn and foolish woman.
The love between William’s previous self and Selena could still be felt by the current William. William’s hatred for Selena was no different from the hatred between two enemies who couldn’t kill each other. As time passed, William stopped and turned to look at the figure of an adult woman in front of him.
Yelna’s gaze shifted to her surroundings. Facing William was not good luck at all for Yelna. For some reason, she bent down in front of him and kept her eyes lowered.
Silence fell between them for a while before William finally decided to speak. William and Yelna hadn’t seen each other for almost a week. There was even a time when William thought that Yelna had secretly left the palace and decided to live a new life.
Of course, what William had thought before was just a useless assumption. For a woman like Yelna, she couldn’t choose to live a new life as an ordinary woman. For now, Yelna’s life in the palace was much better than when she had been in the Blanc Kingdom.
