Chapter 291: Chapter 153: Third Realm

「7:45 AM.」

"Do you both understand the rules?"

On the same fighting platform in the Martial Arts Training Ground, a crowd had gathered. Most of them were from D Building.

In the distance, several other figures stood, calmly watching the proceedings.

Standing before Qin Fang was a young man with stern features. He was slender, but his aura was incredible; every gesture carried the distinct air of a Huajin Martial Arts Grandmaster.

He stood calmly where he was. Upon hearing the soldier’s words, he looked at Qin Fang and said flatly, "Understood."

Qin Fang narrowed his eyes at him and calmly nodded as well. "Understood."

"Alright, then... let’s begin."

With that, the soldier returned to a simple, raised platform nearby to watch the two men in the arena.

But neither man moved. They simply sized each other up.

’Geng Ye’s aura... it’s definitely much stronger than Huang Shun’s.’

’However...’

’Judging by his age, he must be over thirty.’

"Sir, we don’t know each other, do we?"

Qin Fang asked after a moment’s thought, "Why challenge me?"

"Just a friendly match," Geng Ye stated flatly.

’A friendly match?’

Qin Fang raised an eyebrow and suddenly turned to look toward the viewing stands.

He ignored the people from D Building, his eyes drawn to the many lavishly dressed individuals behind them who were all looking in his direction.

He also spotted Qian Ruhai, who was standing beside Lin Chen—the man he’d briefly met the other day. When Qian Ruhai caught his eye, he waved with a broad smile, clearly cheering Qin Fang on.

Qin Fang watched for a moment but couldn’t make sense of the situation, so he shook his head.

’Fine. If this is a test, then so be it.’

He looked at Geng Ye and asked, "So, shall we begin?"

Geng Ye nodded. The next instant, his pupils constricted as his body exploded into motion, a fist hurtling toward Qin Fang.

The punch was wickedly aimed and incredibly fast, closing the distance in the blink of an eye.

This abrupt shift from absolute stillness to explosive movement created a stunning visual impact. Below the platform, the Martial Artists from D Building all gasped in amazement...

"So fast!"

"This isn’t the first time I’ve seen it... but a Huajin Powerhouse is truly on a whole other level compared to us!"

...murmured Brother Shen, who was at the Peak of Anjin.

Wang Qi and the others beside him couldn’t help but nod in agreement...

’That single move... they knew they wouldn’t have been able to dodge it.’

For Qin Fang, however, it was far too easy.

The moment his opponent’s muscles tensed to move, Qin Fang had already perceived it. With his mind as clear as a mirror, he had already anticipated his opponent’s subsequent moves.

Qin Fang simply tilted his head slightly, letting the punch sail past.

SWOOSH!!

The fierce wind from the punch was like a sharp blade, slicing through the air in front of Qin Fang and sending a chill across the tip of his nose.

But ultimately, it missed.

Missing the first strike was clearly within Geng Ye’s expectations. His expression remained unchanged, still cold and detached. He suddenly spun, his left leg striking out like a viper’s fang from a wicked angle, aimed to kill Qin Fang.

Qin Fang’s eyes, however, narrowed slightly, a hint of surprise in them.

’Is this Geng Ye really this artless? He’s not even trying to conceal his intent before launching another attack?’

’Through my Heart Realm’s Perception, I can see the changes in his muscles are completely exposed. He isn’t hiding his transition at all within the Power Storage of his previous move.’

’And to a Huajin Martial Artist, such a direct transition is practically transparent.’

’Is he looking down on me that much?’

’Or does he have some other motive?’

Qin Fang frowned. He anticipated where the next attack would land, and as he saw the leg striking exactly as predicted, he took a step back, dodging another blow by a hair’s breadth.

This dodge seemed to make Geng Ye’s expression turn serious. He leaped into the air, simultaneously thrusting his right leg back in a kick aimed straight for Qin Fang’s chest.

Qin Fang’s expression was peculiar. He retreated and sidestepped once more.

SWOOSH!!

The kick missed its mark again.

Geng Ye’s expression shifted. His face grew grim, and in an instant, he seemed to pick up his speed.

Instantly, on the platform, Geng Ye’s fists shot out like arrows and his kicks chopped down like axes, unleashing a furious storm of attacks on Qin Fang.

The terrifying wind from his fists and kicks even began to make a HOWLING sound that grew steadily louder.

The eyes of the Martial Artists from D Building below went wide... ’Damn, *that’s* what you call an attack!’

"So fast!"

"So strong!"

They were certain that if any of them went up, they wouldn’t last two moves... Geng Ye would have to kneel down and beg them not to die on him!

Most of the spectators were focused on Geng Ye’s assault.

A small minority, however, had their expressions change drastically as they stared intently at Qin Fang.

Amidst Geng Ye’s furious onslaught, Qin Fang hadn’t made a single offensive move from start to finish.

He appeared to be completely suppressed, forced to retreat again and again.

But the more these Huajin Martial Artists watched, the graver their expressions became, some even looking dumbfounded...

"Divine Will Reflection... Anticipating the Enemy!"

The Huajin Martial Artist who was followed by two maids wore an extremely grim expression as he murmured the words.

The few other Huajin Martial Artists beside him were also watching the arena, every one of them looking utterly stunned...

"He’s actually reached this level? Is he... really only twenty years old? If I didn’t know any better, I’d think he was some old master who has been immersed in the Huajin Realm for decades!"

"How is that possible?"

They were deeply shaken, their expressions clearly showing their loss of composure.

At the edge of the crowd were some Black Armored Soldiers. Among them was Li Yao, the one who had guided Qin Fang through the entry-level process. He was currently standing behind a dark-faced, middle-aged man. This man also wore the Black Clothes of the Black Armor Army, indicating a high rank. As he watched Qin Fang in the arena, a look of surprise appeared on his face as well.

"Divine Will Reflection, Anticipating the Enemy... To have reached such a Realm at such a young age... Is this the boy that Tributor Yun has taken an interest in?"
