Chapter 175: Chapter 115: Re-entering
After watching for a while, Qin Fang’s face darkened. "Xile!" he shouted.
Xile, who was playfully chasing a rabbit, started at the sound and turned its head toward Qin Fang.
Seizing the opportunity, the rabbit bolted, dashing straight out of the courtyard.
Qin Fang’s eyes narrowed instantly. "Get it back!"
He said the words, but he was already prepared to take action. If Xile didn’t understand his command, he would go catch it himself...
’Is this a joke? After waiting two whole days and wasting a drop of the liquid, how could I let this test rabbit escape?’
Fortunately, Xile didn’t let him down. Upon hearing Qin Fang’s command, its eyes lit up. With a happy yelp, it broke into a sprint, instantly shooting out the gate like an arrow.
This was probably the first time Qin Fang had seen Xile go all out, and it gave him a shock. ’So fast... It’s almost as fast as me.’
While he was still in shock, Xile returned just a moment later, carrying the rabbit in its mouth.
Xile had the rabbit by the scruff of its neck, but the creature still kicked and struggled nonstop. Having consumed the liquid, the rabbit had grown quite large, and Xile was only slightly bigger. As they passed the gate, the rabbit kicked the wooden door, creating a loud THUD that made the entire gate shudder.
’The force of that kick was incredible!’
But Xile seemed to feel nothing at all. It trotted over to Qin Fang, dropped the rabbit on the ground, pinned it with a paw, and panted happily up at him.
Qin Fang raised a surprised eyebrow, his eyes glinting with thought.
’The way this liquid enhances animals... it’s quite astonishing.’
Seeing the rabbit was still struggling, he grabbed it himself. Qin Fang was naturally much stronger than Xile, but the rabbit was utterly feral, kicking its legs relentlessly. Its sharp hind claws even scraped against Qin Fang’s arm.
’But with how tough my skin is now, a rabbit’s claws clearly aren’t enough to break it.’
Looking at the rabbit struggling relentlessly, Qin Fang considered for a moment. ’Fine, I might as well test the poison today.’
’The rabbit’s size has nearly doubled in two days. The effects of the liquid should be fully absorbed by now.’
He went into the house, retrieved a Poisonous Thorn from its hiding spot under the floor, and, looking at the still-struggling rabbit, jabbed it.
The Poisonous Thorn easily pierced the rabbit’s fur. After just two or three seconds, the violently struggling rabbit fell quiet, its body starting to convulse.
Qin Fang frowned and placed it on the ground to observe.
He could see the rabbit was in obvious agony. It writhed on the ground, its body contorting as it twitched and shivered uncontrollably.
But after more than ten seconds... the rabbit showed no signs of bleeding from its eyes, ears, nose, or mouth.
Qin Fang’s eyes lit up at this.
A short while later, the rabbit stopped moving.
But...
It wasn’t dead!
It was barely breathing, however. It lay on the ground, its breath faint as a thread, giving an occasional twitch.
’Its poison resistance has clearly skyrocketed!’
After all, even that monster inside Wang Hu, with its astonishing Life Force, had kicked the bucket just moments after being poisoned.
’Yet this wild rabbit resisted for so long and survived?’
Qin Fang’s eyes began to gleam.

But after just one night, it kicked its hind legs a few times, opened its eyes, and staggered to its feet.
